He's right about one thing: people aren't considering the long-term effects of VR. The problem isn't psychological, though, and yes he's a faggot for thinking so. The problem is biological, if we ever reach the point where people are using VR devices for as long as they use computers or consoles to game. VR devices for long periods of time are very, very bad for your vision. Or rather… it might be more correct to say it is bad for the part of your brain that handles vision. We are fine with degrading our eyes for entertainment, that's fine, people get LASIK surgery or eyeglasses, but VR can actually change how your brain processes vision, which is not a good thing.
