In my view, if the state funded churches AND churches started to be taxed, that would be two wrongs that didn't add up to a right. Churches should remain tax exempt, but should likewise not be funded by any level of government. Government which runs on taxes paid by all has no business propping up ideologies and faiths held only by some.

And yes, funding a church playground is supporting the church's ministry, because it's a selling point for parents to attend that church and, as a matter of course, tithe that church. And of course those kids are going to sunday school, don't be retarded. If the government is made to support churches, IT WILL BE MADE to support mosques as well. I know in Holla Forums's ethnostate wet dreams we can just support all the churches and then deport every single muslim and not have to worry about broader repercussions, but we don't live in an ethnostate wet dream, and justifying taking one step back because of some hypothetical two steps forward sometime in the future isn't the way to make things better for white western children right now.

The government funding churches will give some degree of control over them (look at universities and how they are today)
The government taxing churches will give some degree of destruction over them (set up the system to financially crush those churches you wish to destroy)

Either/both of these things could be used against the common man to degrade the practice of his faith.
