If I remember right it was some cut-off-Marx's-power-source deal that didn't end up working out, or Nova was antagonistic itself in one form or another. Either way it's probably for the best that Kirby put it down since Marx already proved it could be abused, even if a notoriously and purposefully convoluted method of summoning it is needed. Magolor says there's more than one Nova, though, he refers to "clockwork comets" while loosely recounting Milky Way Wishes in Return to Dream Land.
That's not Nova, rather it's a copy of a Nova built by Haltmann. Haltmann built it to wish for eternal prosperity after hearing about wish-granting machines, but he put an AI in charge of it that he didn't know was malevolent, Star Dream.

user, Meta Knight kind of came across as a power hungry tyrant with his first line. Dreamland is basically a kind of idealistic paradise where everything is full of color and everyone gets to lay around doing nothing but eating goodies and playing without any particular consequences. This isn't some kind of hedonistic shithole that only worsens the quality of their society by doing nothing to change it.
Sure Dedede stealing HIS ENTIRE KINGDOM'S FUCKING FOOD for himself is as horrible as it gets, but Dedede doesn't seem to have any real power anyways and Kirby can be trusted to have it returned in no time. They don't even need to lift a finger, let alone rebel.

Not really, Kirby typically fights completely fucked up abominations but besides his ability to copy worldending levels of power by swallowing baddies what you see is what you get with him. The few looks into his life we get are that he basically sits around and eats all day when left to his own devices.
Then you get shit like Dark Matter invading the place just because, or Meta Knight gets asshurt people in a paradise are lazy and content.

Nova didn't exactly deserve to fucking die just because Marx was using him even though MK technically revived him just by doing what Kirby did in Milky Way Wishes, but everyone on Holla Forums has seen much worst just from the media they've grown up with and developed a taste for as they've gotten older. We've all at some point seen massive injustices that involve innocents dying left and right and characters pushed to despair by having their beliefs devastated. We don't emotionally use exclamation marks about that either.
