The first games I really invested myself into were probably Yoshi's island and age of empires.
I learned to fast type with pepperoni pizza

Hey I remember that game OP. Or, I remember those characters, and I remember playing it. But I have no memory what it was about. I think it had some casino games or poker or something?

also Exile 3 I guess, but it was more fun when I didn't knew english

Damn, you just took me back.

...

...

These games were my childhood

:^)

I've been raised in the arcades and in the spectrum. Didn't got a Master System II until I was 8 I think.

You forgot bioshock and fallout 3

...

Fallout 3 was too dated by the time I became a gamer and Bioshock was just a ripoff of call of duty so why even bother?

AVOID.

...

my dad wouldnt let me play anything else till i was 18

Never seen that Duke ad before.

Not THAT old, just grew up in a country that is/was few years behind the west.

Anyone else have cheap parents and play shareware all the time?

i wouldn't have known about video games if it weren't for an older cousin. pretty sure he got his copy of rollercoaster tycoon disc from school's comp lab

is this a porn game?
does she have a thick bushy?

...

I have no idea why but I find this hilarious

...

This and Doom must've ingrained the love of thrash metal into my underdeveloped mind back when I was a kid.

I didn't play a video game until I was 17

...

...

What was it?

I feel so ancient.

Also I feel sorry for them because they never experienced the incredible jump from 2D to 3D and the vast improvements that came with each console cycle. They take it all for granted.

Here OP, have some hi res artwork and slick amiga tunes.

Thanks for the comfy memories.

My childhood was pretty weird.

I paid extra for the fucking high quality CD version made to last more than me

mah nigga

i think i meant to type pussy or bush, and i typed both

...

Sega Smash Pack 2. I only played Sonic, Flicky and Shining Force though. Mostly just Shining Force, it might be my most beloved game even now.

my fucking basketball american

When I was a freshman in high school I didn't know shit about video games or anime or image boards or the internet. I felt out of place everywhere, like I was an anachronism that should have been born in another time.

The older I grow, the more things I see and learn, the less I feel like an anachronism. I've been fortunate enough to be born into the waifu age.

Does this fag still post here?

mafia, commando libya, indiana jones, monkey island, maniac mansion, sam and max resident evil, ff7, tekken, shen mue and what was that space game where you fight giant cats?

Nice. I remember playing the demo over and over. I don't remember ever actually seeing it in a shop, though.
Shame, because I played the full game a few years ago and it was great. I would have loved it as a kid.

Flash games and demo discs for me. Shockwave.com was the best.
How much were vidya mags back in the day? I guess they were far cheaper than games, at least.

No. Also no. Well, maybe? I dunno.
It's a platformer/hack n slash with a skimpily dressed mc. Softcore, at the most. It's a decent game.

Did you know that Tonic Trouble was actually just a Tech Demo for the Rayman 2 engine?. There's also a heta of the PC version online with different levels.

My Mega Drive came with this and Sonic. Fantastic times even though I was salty when bundles with Mega Games II (Golden Axe, Streets of Rage and Revenge of Shinobi) came out a bit later.

Kid Chameleon was my first vidya, which I played in my mother's cousin's console. He also had E-Swat, which I loved as well.
Eventually got my own with the aforementioned titles. Ghouls n' Ghosts, Disney's Aladdin, Rocket Knight Adventures, Mortal Kombat 3, Comix Zone and every Sonic game are the games I own. Mega Games 2, Streets of Rage 2, Castlevania Bloodlines, Fatal Fury, Street Fighter 2, Eternal Champions, Steel Empire, Earthworm Jim and Samurai Shodown, I borrowed them so many times it's practically like I owned them.

Hawkeye Gough was right (about everything but very poignantly in this regard).
At thy twilight, old thoughts return, in great waves of nostalgia.
It's the faggotry speaking but I admit some sadness creeps up when I think back of those times.
I shouldn't be listening to Lisa: the Joyful OST right now.

...

The first game I ever bought with my hard earn money was Castlevania.

I know this feel. The leap from SNES to PS1 was remarkable.

...

...

There were a lot before this, and there were a lot after this. But nothing has ever replaced this.

I miss modernnon-autistically detailedcombat flight simulators

Forgot my pic. I was drowning in feels.

That fucking Smurf game for the Colecovision or Super Mario Bros. for the NES. Good times.

I vaguely remember some game on the Colecovision where you had to run around room from roo and collect stuff/avoid enemies. That game terrified me as a kid but I never was able to find out which game it was, even though I went and looked at screenshots of old games for that system.

I had no idea of what the fuck i was doing.

Good taste user.
I want to fuck cosmo's cuteboy ass

Arcade games were casual, yeah, but they had nice graphics and god tier beat em ups and fighting games, also had great controls.

holy shit, I remember playing this on the macintosh computers in the computer lab in sixth grade. air hockey, right? didn't that chick character whip out her tit if you beat her?

Man I loved this game back in the day.

8/10

...

...

...

I have a working authentic copy of it.

ha ha remember floppy disks and dial up? :^):)^:^:^^^:)

Is that minecraft porn?

why would it even exist?

It's on Youtube and it has tens of millions of views.

Welcome to hell.

my black gentleman

Desert Strike was a great game

A lot of games, but there was a youth center I used to go to after school which had all the usual 90s stuff on their computers such as the human body game, the Magic School Bus game and Carmen Sandiego but also Sim City. That game was popular among the kids.

Also, I hope that when any of you become parents lol you will introduce your kids to good vidya early. A lot of parents these days are too afraid to do it.

This is not hell.

This is earth.

When you die in your sin, you go to hell.

i dont want to go to hell knowing that, user

Don't listen to that user

We ARE in hell. The world ended in 2012 and now we are in this never ending purgatory until we find the light of our lord.

mah nigga

My first M rated game was Conker's Bad Furday

I jerked off to the shitting cow

Fuck, you have no idea how long I've been trying to find the name of this game.

Can anyone help me remember an old game?
It was for pc and i think it had spider in the title. It was an isometric rpg with diablo style inventory and i think you started in a castle in your room.

bump cause i want to know I'm 21 if that helps but it was my older brothers game
