Yeah, I have no problem at all with female protags as long as they aren't pushed for political reasons because then it turns to shit. Anyway, I would have liked to play as a younger Emily, it's both neat from a visual standpoint with a small girl sneaking around and doing stuff but also in terms of gameplay since you're so small and can enter places where fully grown ups can't and such. Would also have forced the devs to focus on the stealth rather than the cakewalk combat that the previous game had.

So let's ignore the fact that they did not merely answer the question and actually talked a good deal about it and acted as if the manner in which they introduced the faggotry into the game is something they should announce ahead of time instead of letting people find it themselves. Why allow for the focus to be taken off of gameplay, story, and more useful elements of the game by even addressing such points? Why not tell people to pay the game to find out? Why not be coy about it? The only reason not to is to attract a certain demographic that would find addressing the point of gay characters pleasing instead of more useful shit like gameplay. And if a dev feels that is something worth putting out there, as many recent examples have shown, such is a warning flag and certainly a reason to not only be wary but not be hopeful of such a game.
