Having said that, topical fluoride is way more effective than systemic fluoride, and many European countries phased fluoridation out, with no increase in tooth decay. Making sure all children have access to dentistry, such as school based programs is the gold standard.

Not anti-capitalist. They'll talk about issues up to a 'limit', that limit in the case of war propaganda is very close to US official lines ("Yea we don't like it… b-but Russia!") (which strangely doesn't change even when Cenk has had people on to interview, showing how he's completely wrong on the history of it).

They're inclusive on issues of social policies, but within the capitalist framework solely. They'll be stuck rubbing their heads against the same wall that the 'right wing' reactionaries stop dead at - in relation to 'terrorism' (i.e neither side will accept the idea of mercenary forces being deliberately created, and funded, and aided otherwisely - that part is ignored, turning the entire conversation into a 'side picking' on rubbish like whether Islam is the problem or not (kind of like how the social issues debates go when they ignore capitalism)).

If you keep watching it daily, your head will be filled with emotionally 'traumatizing' newsheadings and headlines, very pop-media-like. No critique of structure.

The closest critique that I've seen is "money in politics"; which is nice, what they're doing and trying to do - but if it doesn't follow up with a critique of money's (capital's) affect on society period, it's not likely it'll ever solve anything.

Whatever victories they'll see happen, will just be overturned by a bribe behind closed doors (which is how it got into this spot in the first place).

Other than Jimmy Dore, and the dude at TYT Politics (Jordan Chariton) - they will skip over specific events to rather maintain a narrative. (direct fraud which proves the election itself was completely stolen? No, it was a bit of dirty tricks, and just sadly the people are still too fooled, etc.)

When the moment came, instead of going full-out about how this whole thing was a setup, they backed down, and folded to Clinton. Cenk himself also has very little understanding (and probably not much interest) of either capitalism, nor socialism. You'll find accurate descriptions of the consequences of capitalism, but they - in contrast to social issues or fraud - are never put into a systemic critique. Then, it's just about specific issues.

It's kind of sad, really.
Calling it "liberal media", doesn't really cover it - as what they do is the exact same thing 'alt news' reactionary and rightwingers, do. With equally skipping over actual events and facts, to establish a narrative - within the same overall bubble of capitalism - in which they both reside, and remarkably enough maintain a 'there is no alternative' attitude towards, to, while seeing themselves as enemies of the former proponents of exactly that.
