This is the prettiest plane.

You can usually find a Blackbird flying around in any of the Ace Combat games, and can fly a variant of it in Ace Combat 3 specifically (although it's closer to the YF-12). I also recall there being a non-sim flyan game where you COULD fly a modified version of the SR-71 for one particular mission, where you would use it as a bomber, but fuck if I can remember what the hell the game was called. Wasn't Ace Combat as far as I'm aware of.

The X-02 Wyvern is a sexy plane. I wonder if it's going to be more widespread in AC7 since it's the future and there's been plenty of time to improve it. Mobius 1's encounter with 6 of those beauties in his extra mission in AC5 was one of my favorite sorties.

Anyway, I liked the Shirogane since it looks like a luxury cruise liner repurposed for war. It is objectively the worst of the spaceworthy Noah class ships, but I have fond memories of it with badass captain Daitetsu at the helm. I poured a lot of credits into that ship, which is probably the worst thing you can do in terms of efficiency, but I couldn't resist. It was a nice change of pace, too, using the mothership as a primary offensive unit.
