I think that's forgivable just because it's Wolfenstein. It's the original kill all the Nazis because they're Nazis game series.
Personally I think it gives them a lot of credit. The world they establish is totalitarian as fuck all but they built immense cities, bridges, a moon base, and cool robots. Sure it was Jew technology but that would have been (and was used in-game) to subvert a Nazi utopia anyways.

you're not wrong, but it wasn't exactly a Nazi utopia, it was portrayed as a dystopia. They also greatly exaggerated things that were non-Nazi like covering everything in concrete, deaths camps, terrible consequences for wrongthink, etc. all that good stuff.

Having the nazis as the bad guys in itself isn't a problem, it's just fiction. it's how often and how hard they're pushed as extreme totalitarians that gets tiring, thats all. Having nazis as the bad guys is okay, especially for a wolfenstein game. having a bad guy who just so happens to be a nazi is also okay. it's just that it gets really old really fast when a game decides to retread the ancient trope of "nazis = pure evil, slaughter them all" as a cornerstone of the game.
