I didnt watch every conference but all of them had something disappointing.
Sony was the best one all around due to it being all about games and some exclusives but it spend a bit too much time on VR imo. Also, GOW looked slow as fuck an mostly reminded me of TLoU and not its predecessors.
M$ shat the bed for all its console owners mostly because everything is coming to W10.
EA was abysmal, Ubisoft was a cringefest and during Bethesda I almost had an aneurysm when people praised the release of nuDOOM's demo (a freaking demo).
Ninty was ok, the new Zelda looked interesting.

E3 was pretty bad this year. Good thing I kept my expectations low, because it made some of the actually notable stuff seem great. Overall Sony came out on top IMO, with a few good things here and there (Zelda, South Park, some of the PC conference, etc.) Might give that RE7 demo a shot later.

Yep, right down to the clunkier combat and cutscenes. Half-expected it to break out into generic somber guitar rifts in some parts. I think it could be an interesting progression for the series, but being and all means it'll probably tone down everything it's known for.

The new GOW is nothing like the predecessors, some might argue that the combat was nothing special (mash square to win) but at least we had dozens of enemies on screen, a big spectacle to behold (fights like Poseidon, Cronos and the Kraken), its was fast and bloody.
This game seems to have diluted most of them (2 enemies on screen, combat being slow, swinging the axe is slow, Spartan Rage is a mini cutscene, etc), granted it was the first trailer, but it worries me that we might get a game more concerned about the narrative than the combat and spectacle of the others.

That one I plan on saving permenantly in the event I start running out of space for matches (if that's a thing. not sure on that).
