I have friend who's an Airforce veteran. He was an E-9 Airforce. I know, not because he told me, but because I've been in his home many times. Of course he talked about his time Special Operations, but we never talked specifics like rank. I met him through my job. I manage a condo complex. He was admitted to the hospital a couple months ago. He told me that he was getting surgery because of his cancer. He has cancer in his lung the size of a golf ball and nobody knows what kind it is and what to do about it.I visit him once every week because he's about 30 minutes out and my job doesn't allow me to see him at a reasonable time unless I leave early or go on my off time. I might be the only one who visits this frequently. I've been their before and he's talked about visitors and there was a time where he did receive a church visit, but I'm not sure if anyone go's regularly. He never talks about getting regular visits. People in the community ask about him everyone once in a while but only one person ever talked about going to visit him, besides me.
