We live in an age of tyrants. Good has become evil, and evil, good. The institutions surrounding us are rotting. Everyone can see this to one degree or another. The blight upon our society rises like the tide and most float on human emotion sustained by hedonism and mindless consumerism. Others raise up idols to worship: equality, justice, or relativism. For those who hold higher ideals and have a vision of the way the world should work it is demoralizing. Our heroes are dying, our history is being stolen and rewritten, and thinking themselves righteous, and those we hold responsible mock and desecrate our way of life.
Those who choose to embrace this reality are first overwhelmed by the magnitude of what faces our people, and then led to despair at the abject scale of the evil who brought our proud civilization so low.
Nihilism is inherently deconstructionist. It is powerful for framing the problems facing us, and provides a lens to interpret how a society could justify us being hounded, even in our own homes, for our words, how our children are subjected to indoctrination for the entirety of their formative years, how our minds are assaulted by propaganda at every turn. "Nothing matters!", "Everything is absurd!", do explain the sorry state of the way things are, but we should not turn to despondency. It is not enough to tear up the briars, we have to be diligent in cultivating their replacement.
The same freedom of will that enables the slothful, immoral, and corrupt to persecute those who are good, allows us to change our circumstances. It is not easy; it will never be easy. At every turn we will be shunned, persecuted, and branded with ever more vitriolic ridicules. The challenge each one of must accept is to better ourselves in every way, to live out the ideals we hold in our hearts, and to work towards the new order we envision. Through the force of our will, this world will change, but it will only come about once we have the courage to pit our will against the monolith before us.
If it was easy it would have been done and there would be no glory for us to seize. As the old order collapses, we must be there to take its place. I cannot speak to the degree to which this will happen, but no matter the circumstances, put your setbacks out of your mind, because as you have accepted, nothing matters! All that is left to accept that you will have success. And when you do have success, take pride in knowing that as the product of thousands of your ancestors, you carry their mantle and they would be proud.
If we succeed, against all odds, we will become the heroes, but we must do what others will not, and that begins with finding what you love, and honing yourself so that you may defend it. Stay strong brothers, because our hour has come again
