I'm not British, so no idea. It's refreshing though, in 9 episodes, only 1 featured 1 nigger, all the other characters are white. Sometimes it's funny, sometimes it's exciting, but some of the side characters and their side plots are uninteresting/lead to nowhere. It's still way better than the other series British people make.
From time to time they produce good series like Humans for example.

First off, as far as what's currently being made, the only ones I can say I have no shame being on here are Ash vs Evil Dead and Silicon Valley. I completely enjoy both shows, even if neither is perfect.
Then you've got stuff like Strain and Game of Thrones which I liked at one point, but not much anymore, but I invested enough time in them I want to see them through to the end even if I didn't enjoy the most recent episodes. In The Strain's case, I just can't be bothered to watch the current season. I don't give a shit anymore. I may actually drop the series without finishing it.
Then you've got all the stuff in limbo. Metalocalypse, Venture Bros, some of the anime, some other stuff. Shows that could at some point get another season that I keep on there just in case, hoping for a pleasant surprise.
Then there's the current season anime I'm watching.
Finally I've got old shows I genuinely love. There's a few others not listed here, but basically I know there will be no new episodes, but if there's nothing good on, those will be the shows I navigate to watch while eating or have on as background noise. I always enjoy those shows.
I know the list is kinda shit, I hate most of what's on tv these days. It used to be a lot longer but there's a ton of shows I dropped or removed when I was finished.
