I'm not sure it will go that smoothly. Right now Poland has no issue with the EU because it's been able to have it's cake and eat it too, so to speak. This ultimatum seems like a desperate move on the part of Brussels, as it introduces yet another conflict between a quasi-nationalist state and the EU where there previously was none. Will Poland really give up control over immigration so easily? I'm no expert on it, but if it's not clear they'll give up without a fight than the ultimatum seems very foolish. If the EU wants to survive it should be more accommodating to those within it as well as aggressive to those without (UK). Is this another example of the Jews not knowing how to recover from a loss?
Poland will cave as they are one of the biggest net recipients of EU cash. They know on what side their bread is buttered. Hungary is a more interesting prospect however. Viktor Orban has the balls to flip them the bird.
