Well im mean none of them are usually using their natural voice when theyre acting. If anything they probably sound like what cartoon characters sound like to us, like the simpsons or something.

It will never be to soon for SE to release their games dual language. With the size of data storage formats these days, there's no excuse. I can't imagine most voice actors are too fussed about licensing, as long as they get paid properly either.

I hear this a lot. As a gold star weeaboo, I know enough moon to know when an actor is hamming it up and they do it a lot in anime and games, at least. "Normal" Jap acting is a whole other story. I personally think it's endearing and prefer it to a dry performance. I've heard some really dull performances too, but I find it a bit easier to endure or ignore. Maybe it's because I can't completely understand them, though. My point is, there's good and bad actors on both sides of the pond.

But let's be honest: anything is better than the average American VA doing an "anime" voice. You know the one I mean.
