Ainz is OP as fuck. At least Kirito doesn't have a demon army and 666 fuck-everything-in-a-thousand-miles spells, he's more Bayonetta level.
An Overlord game would probably suck. Not that Sword Art Online won't suck, but even if the characters suck and Kirito is a giant Gary Stu asshole, at least they can make the gameplay good. You can't make good gameplay when you're the guy that's 100 levels above everyone else or working for the guy that's 100 levels above everyone else without breaking canon to the point of "why bother?".
If anything what Overlord really needs is season 2.
