You can spawn at the village. Try and put your corpse next to a common landmark. Mountains and buildings are good ones. You could wander until you find a village then find it on the map to retrieve your corpse. Don't worry your items are safe for about a week.

How often to traders get more money? The wiki doesn't specify. When I went to the spawn to sell stuff both traders were completely out of money and I was only able to buy things by getting the values to match exactly. It's dumb that they don't let you buy even if you're trading for something of lesser value.

In terms of actual gameplay, you should go Vynora priest. You can cast Circle of Cunning on tools which cause them to give more exp to the people using them and Wisdom of Ages which causes actions taken by the tools to be shorter. A bunch of people with WoA pickaxes can blow the living fuck out of a mine.

More over 10 silver can buy you a whole month (28 days) of premium time so most people dont even have to pay real money

You might be able to get by by grabbing dirt from somewhere flat and using it to level with. But it wont work if the slope it would create is bigger than 40.

not only they are the bread and butter of digging (since they are fucking overpowered), they also ignore your skill when deciding how steep you can dig or add dirt.

if you drop dirt on the ground, it will rise the ground, however, it cannot create slopes higher than 40, any dirt dropped this way will 'slide down'
