Losing isn't fun

Losing isn't fun.

Competitive games where match-made teams as the primary form of play are inherently unfun if you play to win because no matter how good or bad you are, you will still have the same ratio of wins to losses (50%).

They're games that don't become more enjoyable the better you become. The only way to enjoy them is to stop caring about winning and/or to grief your team.

Try to prove me wrong. protip: you can't

EDIT:

Then git gud
If you don't at least try to take something away from a loss, at least try to learn and improve based on your mistakes then you are one of these screaming manchildren who will ragequit just because they lose a game, and honestly these kind of people don't belong in a online teambased game.

And don't go blaming your teammates now, because that's every manchilds favourite excuse.

Get a load of this retard. There as re plenty of people that go under or over. See: any counter-strike player.

You sound like a whiny loser faggot.

Getting stomped isn't fun, but counter to that stomping isn't particularly rewarding or fun either. A hard fought battle that results in victory is uplifting, and if you lose a similar battle it can also have rewarding aspects.

If both of our teams did our best and we still lost, then it was a good game.

If 2 of my teammates decided they'd rather micspam and goof off in a competitive scenario, then I did not have a good game.

The latter reason is primarily why I stay away from TF2 competitive. It's either that or the far other end where people foam at the mouth in anger when you make a minor mistake.

I went and googled cs:go pros and checked the stats on them and none were above 60%.

Overwatch obviously needs freeform dedicated servers just like TF2 so we can have 12 Tracers per team with cooldown disabled being annoying pieces of shit to everyone.

tracer doesn't need 0% duration cooldowns to be an annoying piece of shit

If you have to win in order to have fun, you're no better than an 8 year old. That's literally the trait of a child.

What kind of shitter loses at video games? Especially today where there's nothing but casual shit

if you find losing enjoyable, you must be too accustomed to it :^)

I could have put literally any other image of another competitive game but chose overwatch since that was the one I played last

My mistake, I just woke up to this

Oh boyhoo he doesnt even hide it.
You have to go back Blizzcuck

TF2 competitive in general's a pretty big joke, I remember reading Robin Walker didn't watch it at all anymore because the meta'd stagnated so badly from nobody wanting to find new strategies or loadout combinations that worked and because of the goof-arounders.

The worst are the holier-than-thou compfags and Youtubers because that shit trickles down into the rest of the game sheerly by proxy, finding a Soldier using the Direct Hit is fucking astounding anymore after the Black Box got popular because of lone-wolf retards who need a constant influx of healing with that, the Concheror and maybe the Half-Zatoichi to be able to play effectively.

You've been trained to enjoy mediocrity.

That's why I'm hype about the comp update coming soon. Already it's becoming viable to get a pyro instead of a demo, or a heavy instead of a pocket soldier.

Also the BB + conc doesn't really work that well. The 60% healing from the conc buff does not stack with the BB's healing. A way better combo is BB + backup, which gives you 35% damage resist and crit immunity. THAT's where you become invincible.

I had one group where our roamer soldier was backup, holy shit we would push in with him and just wipe the fucking floor with the other team. 35% damage resistance is a BIG deal. A 112 damage rocket becomes 73 damage, a 104 damage meat shot becomes 68, ect.

I'm excited to see what they add, and I've talked to a few comp guys. They're going to seriously improve performance in the next major update, and add things like viewmodel_offset (like TF2C has) and of course a Gunmettle/Tough Break style enormous balance patch.
