It is broken, yes. Ryouna also has an infinite air attack but it isn't as fast and unpunishable as Hibari's. While we're on the subject of her moveset, I chuckled at how she eats shit at the end of her sprint.

If there was a way to disable the cutscenes of destroying clothes and transforming midfight to stop breaking up the pacing, that'd be good though.

So is there some kind of versus or free match mode that gets unlocked later? I got the game and am enjoying it but if I just want to mess around with certain characters do I have to go and find the right story mission where they fight to do it?

The trash enemies are more fun than the girls to me since it often ends up with the stripping mechanic breaking combos and then punishes you randomly with a strong attack. Its always just better to just use a single super attack to kill them off.

I'd recommend watching the anime, as it is just an alternative take on Burst's story, then try SV. Deep Crimson is the best I've played so far, but SV is worth it for all the new girls all the same.

One of my favorite improvements over Senran in Valkyrie Drive is that they got rid of that bullshit. If a certain girl is supposed to win the fight, you'll play as that girl in VD. There's a lot of times where you end up playing as the antagonists for that reason.

Can confirm, raising difficulty doesn't stop them dying any faster. You should instead refrain from shinobi transformations until you're ready to kill. That way you get more hits for less damage.

Seriously I found it to be absurdly effective to just go into the no clothes frenzy mode and use a strong attack ninja art to one shot any senran.

You little just use your weak attack combo against mobs and then air rave. Even the fucking bosses are a joke. You can just air combo them until they're down. Burst is not worth even $5 due to the sheer lack of challenge alone. Seriously, I understand a game not being much of a challenge, but turning the player into an unstoppable powerhouse from the get go just makes me feel that the devs don't think much of their player base's mental capabilities.

I got almost 3k at one point. The limiting factor most of the time is that you run out of enemies to hit. Pretty sure you can go arbitrarily high on Katsuragi's boulder breaking section if you just ignore the boulders and go after the dummies because they keep spawning forever.

2.2k ish but I don't really pay attention anymore since one hit can translate into 40+ combo arbitrarily.

It still baffled me when I crush a boss only ever getting skimmed once or twice and it tells me I got hit 30+ times.

I was missing something because I was worthless with her. Her light attacks are trash and close range, her candy pale charge attacks were lame considering how long they needed to charge, her backpack obscures the dog tail buttplug I gave her.

Finally finished Hessen's sub-story modes. Got A most of the time on my first attempt so B's across the board ain't bad. Gonna finish the story that I got to 9 apparently. Doing the story modes plus the sub-story modes with the unlockable characters means I have 210 if the unlocks count for anything levels. Since I'm only done 34 that means I got 176 missions left. Hessen girls are retarded by the way at least from so far what I can gather the only ones I've liked is the chick with fists and Shiki I can stand those two. I'm gonna wrap up the Hessen branch then go for the others of course. Otherwise this gameplay is meh, easy at times bollocks at others and the whole costume schtick is there only to elongate gameplay. Done the story? The only faults I can think of in Deep Crimson was that it lacked some of the outfits in the other games and that you couldn't remove the bra and panties like you can in SV, along with a lack of PvP (coop is fun though).
