Easily the best sound track of the last year and even the last few years I'd say it's more than likely the best soundtrack of this decade, and unlike most other soundtracks a large portion of it is excellent, the lyrics in the songs are pretty cringe though.

I'm sorry for raping this thread with my own preferences, I just love music.

I bought a 650 dollar audio player, a $100 amp module and some 350+ IEM's to listen to some bitching tunes.

I could have built a high-end gaymen pc, but I have my priorities.

Worst part is that these metal gear OSTs arent even in the game, because konami.

You guys have no clue how good this sounds on my setup.

I'm sure some rich fags here have better audio rigs, but still.
I don't listen from YouTube.
I just link the shit I listen to.

Portable audio is my game.
This is what I have.
It's a FiiO X7 + AM2 Module with a 128gb Micro SD.
I also have FLC 8S that I got for 160$ on ebay, I just like to bluff about the price, since the MSRP are $375.
I wanted to get the Rhapsodio Solars which are an easy $1000 used.
Unfortunately, I can't afford that yet.

I'm all about the portability/fidelity combo.
This rig allows for ultimate customization, the FLC 8S has tuners, and the FiiO X7 has amp modules, on top of that, V4A can be installed for EVEN FURTHER customization
It limits the audio output to 44.1kHz sure, but honestly, I don't believe that high res 96/24 bullshit.

I know what good audio is, I'm young, I have trained ears.
I love to let people listen to my player, because they are BLOWN away to how amazing it sounds compared to their common setup.
It's wonderful really getting people into what audio really is.

I really can't wait to get the solars.

This some is the theme of my favorite Vidya villan, Id.

I just love how its not some horror movie theme or some CHURAYZE speed metal soundtrack, but a slow dynamic song to give you that real

His theme sounds heavenly on my X7.

I ripped the 1:1 audio from the game itself and painstakingly converted it to FLAC.
It sounds miles better than the youtube link.
Since it's somewhere around >32kHz
Not exactly 32Khz, it's 31.7kHz for some damn reason.
Game freak was fucking weird when making these recordings.

It's funny too, it sounds more forgivable with lower samples in this higher end player, 32khz used to sound like shit, now it's close to 44kHz due to that very heavy customization I mentioned earlier.
Hell, even 16kHz sounds good, I'm actually jamming to the ripped files from the gba version of DKC3

I know I'm geeking out over audio, but I haven't enjoyed something THIS much since actual videogames!
Music is impossible to ruin by SJW's!

I bought cool shit, basically hacked it in a way, and made it sound even better and more holographic than it already is.
I've actually had to turn around a few times after modding it, since I thought the sounds were coming from BEHIND me.
I got used to it now, but the face other people make when I show them my rig is priceless, it's fucking beautiful.

I gave my cousin an amp to juice up his headphones, since the guy didn't know much about audio and music.
It's a FiiO E12A I gave him, unsure about his headphone brand, but they were apparently 200+, so I'm sure it pushes them quite well.

He's really happy with them.

What does it do exactly? I like listening to music a lot too and i could probably add this to my life when i can afford it.

Usually look at ebay bids for the cheapest thing available, amazon as well if you're looking to just get something slightly cheaper than MSRP.

and lurk head-fi for many different amplifiers to suit your needs.
If you have big, expensive over ear headphones, definitely get an amplifier and a decent audio converter, it will make a world of different on how you listen to music.

I originally bought higher end music gear because I thought it would motivate me more to draw and work out, I thought it would instantly push me.

Little did I know it would just distract me more with how damn immersive it was, I did not realize that these kinds of things took time and patience.

I'm lifting more now, I still haven't bothered drawing, even though I've lurked loomis and bought the supplies that "Drawing on the Right of the Brain" have told me, I wish I could get motivated faster.

I know I'm gonna have to bruteforce through it at first, that's the challenge.

I hope to show you guys what I want to create in a couple of years, they are very wonderful things, tons of relateable characters and heartwrenching plot and juicy backstory.
