Any analysis model would have be focused on how to inject subtle information onto an existing meme so it's carried along with the meme naturally. Problem is, advertisers would not have executive control on such memetic injection, as any act to force it ruins it. So it becomes a high risk investment as a meme always has a chance to mutate in a fashion like Pepe did.

So they would have to treat it like memetic warfare, constantly battling other influences while ensuring the infected meme grows naturally.
