I foresee VR dying in the same way that PC gaming kept "dying".

Which is to say, people will keep on saying it's dead because for some reason they'll only count exclusives as valid examples. Even thought it's safe to say that the best shit that VR will get will be games which won't require VR, but can benefit from VR with support (be it from the devs or third-party).

The wow factor ends and then you just have an expensive screen with turning your head for mouse-look. With low resolution, god rays, SDE, red tint, and expensive/no content.

I had a go at the Vive a couple of days ago and I disagree, while VR won't be good for the vast majority of games it's perfect for sims. If you love sims get VR, just wait for the second gen because the res currently sucks.

There's no question that to some being permanently banned from a game or site means their life is over. There's already documented cases of suicide over this issue, it's not an academic question anymore.

If you use a Note 5 that has a 2560×1440 screen with really good VR goggles it's higher resolution than an Oculus which is only 2160x1200 and better quality optically. With a USB 3.0 port can you can stream 4k video no problem. The only downside is lag which will probably be under 10ms in future models.

Streaming a PC game to your phone you can use TrackIR for head tracking. I've seen some racing simulator fanatics try it on youtube. It's also popular with Skyrim.

This niggas right . I mean look at the type of mobile games that got popular, they were pretty much all ripoffs of shitty newgrounds flash games from the late 90's, which themselves were ripoffs anyway.
This kind of stuff seems to come around in a circular fashion, likely because they're relatively simple to make, lets the dev get used to working with a new platform whilst being easily recognisable by plebs.
