The original "travel ban" EO was fucking worthless. Only a ban on a handful of muslim countries, and only for a few weeks at that.

This. There is nothing stopping Trump from enacting all the things he wants out of the ban but from within the regular immigration code. The ban is a flashier version of having your visa and such rejected "for reasons". He can do that while pushing for the ban and if anything happens, if there is any terrorist attack, he can blame the lack of a ban and all the people who are pushing against it.

He gets to paint the left as anti-American, the media, and make a case for judicial overreach. This also prevents anyone opposing him to set up a false flag since that would further help his case and push though other stuff, further painting his opposition as enemies of the people. So those that would allow or cause false flags will have to stow that shit for the time being since that will further help his case and let him fuck over the FBI and CIA even more since they would get some portion if not all of the blame for letting shit go down. If there are no terror attacks, he gets to say he kept the country safe. In the end, he does not need the ban to do what he wants in regards to immigration and instead, is using it to fuck over his enemies.

And to add, he has already done some of this here and there. Naturally most of the media skips over it because they are too obsessed with muh Russia and this travel ban.

The real problem with doing that will be that the most predictable result would be that faithless European countries would send their Tan Germans and New Swedes to us and we'll be a dumping ground for shitty Syrians. We can't just bring back the old rules when Europe itself is becoming non-European.

That is certainly something to be considered. Maybe he has a plan for that. If we're going back to pre-1965 rules, then I think flagrantly "racist" rules are on the table.

Something that I don't think a lot of consider is that it's entirely possible Bannon knows everything we do, is as smart as us, but doesn't really have the same goals as us. It's entirely possible that Bannon and Trump's super smart team want us to think he's headed towards dictator territory when in reality he's using us as the vanguard to talk past the sale. It's possible he wants us there in the background as alternative so he can point to us and say "Look! The wolves are circling! This is your last chance to do it democratically because if you don't meet us in the middle they'll give you absolutely NO quarter when we fail".

Just a thought. He might be constructing a golem he can't control, he might be a real fascist, but I get the feeling the Trump team is a little more nuanced than we make them out to be.

It's not as if the information we know about is hard to find or even that complicated, especially if you have access to intelligence agencies who can't afford to pretend the jews aren't powerful. There's guaranteed to be a certain amount of very powerful people who both know what we know and resent the kikes because of it, we just don't know who they are for obvious reasons. As for using us as the overton window pushers, it's plausible but I'm not sure if there really will be a chance for a diplomatic solution, I think the reason why Trump made such an emphasis on building up the millitary is because he and his advisors know full well the only thing (((they))) listen to is vioence.
