They are not bad for your health. They are a box that creates large static electrical voltages that rapidly change. Because water is polarized, it causes the water in the food to rapidly be attracted to or repelled by the static fields produced. This produces heat.

That's what's dangerous, not radiation. Radiation can be anything, including sunlight. It's nuclear radiation you should be concerned about, the type that ionizes particles.
