His new book on bureaucracy should be required reading for everyone on Holla Forums.

He has a seriously annoying case of the giggles.

A lot of pontificating and little critical discussion. Typical anarkiddies.

So thats what you call an anarkidie? You do know theirs an actual mean to the word and not just "anyone who is an anarchist" right?

muh hero

Here it is.

Utopia of Rules by David Graeber.

Damnit.

Thanks, bruh. It's appreciated.

What does this book talk about?

honestly i thought it was kinda weak compared to his other books.
The second essay (flying cars and the falling rate of profit) is great for debunking the "capitalism causes innovation" argument however.

if you listen to him talk he brings that one up alot.

bump

another bump to keep thread alive

I read a bit of his book on direct action and he kept talking about how great Gandhi was. He seems like a bit of a meme to be honest.

Gandhi politics might have been shit, but he did defeat a world power through direct opposition which is kinda impressive.

Yeah user I wish people of my own culture would be the ones bossing me around. Be the change you want to see, namaste.

Yeah he did not intend it to be an academic research project just something to think about. It's still a very important book that speaks about very important issues that Holla Forums should talk more about.

Rephrase that, its the most important book since Kapital IMO

did you not read that part?

anyone have an audio book?
