I thought it was good. I do hate that the glory kills mechanic but you can shorten those with perks. If you are missing the old school fps style its a definite buy, especially if you're going to play a lot of multiplayer.

The game focuses on those annoying glory kills so the new and fancy weapons do shit damage and the chainsaw is a one hit kill with almost no ammo
The enemies get boring once you've seen the redesigns and the bosses are the same thing just with a little mix up every time you fight one
It's a little better than the average CoD or Halo, but you're going to regret it
