Its weak compared to the Yellow, like Marlboro Gold/Marlboro Red for comparison. It doesnt stain your fingers either, if you work with a lit rollie permanently welded between your fingers like I do.

Iv got a vita lad. Its pretty good. Its nice and light too and fairly sturdy. That was the downside of psps. They were either heavy or the later slim & light models were really fragile. The slightest knock and they died. Contrast that with the vita which my daughter dropped down the fucking stairs once and it still works fine. £99 from ebay. I'll post an extract from a conversation I had with some two bit reporter a while back.
This was probably the first time I tried to really explain board culture to a normie with the intention of him understanding something. Got a few things wrong here and there but fuck it, it was written quickly from memory at the time.

The whole kek phenomena goes back years. Over a decade really.
The term kek has long been thrown around on the Chans as a substitute for lol/lul. The reason for this being back in World of Warcrafts early days (not sure how it is now) the different races talked different languages to prevent players constantly throwing abuse at each other. "Lol" in orcish (the main language used by the Horde) was seen by Alliance players as "kek"
So kek spread in use and has in the past been incorrectly attributed to the korean language by individuals such as yourself.
There's also the Topkek element to consider. A brand of Turkish snack cake. Which fit in with other memes and helped cement the use of kek and top kek.

That's the main reasons the term was thrown around initially and laid the grounds for future usage you may be more familiar with.
To understand why it came to be associated with an ancient egyptian deity though you need to understand that all communities have their superstitions.
For the Chans because this is all about the Chans, Reddit is irrelevant. For the Chans one important superstition is dubs, trips, quints and other GETS. All posts on a board on every Chan are assigned a number denoting the number post it is. So the thousandth post would be 10000 (with the desirability of repeating digits starting on the right hand side of the number).
Posts with a lot of repeating numbers are considered to be more authoritative or somehow prophetic. Or just lucky depending on the content of the post. Many boards feud over important GETs. Striving to be the ones who get a particular GET on a competing board and post something that will annoy them.
Successfully predicting what the final number in your post number will be is also considered a mark of merit. With predicting dubs even better and predicting trips downright shocking.
So to give an example: "If my post ends in 6, you're a faggot" and if it ended in a 6 then most people on the board would agree with it.
Not to say this can be used to control opinion or that they will obey without question. The Chans are chaotic by nature.

So we've covered kek and the relevance of the various GETs in chan culture.

Now onto the next bit of the puzzle.
Pepe the frog.

Pepe initially came to the Chans via some shitty comic strip.
Anthropomorphic frogman goes to toilet, pulls shorts down completely to piss in toilet, other animalperson sees him, comments on it, other animal person asks him why he does it, frogman responds "feels good man"
"Feels good man" got posted fairly often as a meme. Short, simple and easily transmitted. Much like hackers on steroids and internet hate machine it just fit in perfectly. After a while this got mutated into "Feels bad man" and quickly eclipsed the original on the basis of the general feelings of despair common to inhabitants of the Chans.

After this mutation and its spread to the wider internet thanks to fucking Reddit. Pepe came to be heavily associated with Feels Guy (AKA: Wojak) who was a meme originating from Krautchan who had complimentary meaning to the sad frog form of Pepe.
But he most heavily came to be associated with a variant of Pepe labelled "Smug frog" who was as you can guess a smug version of the frog in question. Typically with the smug pepe engaging in various horrifying acts directed at Feels Guy. Typically involving feces and urine.
Generally speaking the sad pepe was shown as a comrade in suffering to feels guy while smug pepe is a tormentor.

Over time the changing faces of Pepe (feels good to feels bad to smug) also came to be associated with the way the population of the Chans was changing. How overall they had become more optimistic and less horribly depressed.
Obvious exceptions (/r9k/, Wizardchan) aside.

So this long annoying and rambling journey has taken us over the word kek, the origins of pepe and the relevance of GETS.
Now it starts to come together.

A GET is ultimately a coincidence. So in a way we can say it is coincidence that the Chans look for some meaning in. Random chance.
Kek, frogs and Pepe had many coincidences.
To give a few:
In Donald Trumps Real Estate Tycoon (a video game put out many years ago) one of the logos for your company that you can select bears the name PEPE

Then there is the ancient egyptian god you're aware of. Kek, often depicted with the head of a frog. One Pharaoh said to have been particularly blessed by this god supposedly responded to one of his subjects coming to the palace to complain by instructing his band to play as loud as they could until the subject went away. In effect trolling the subject into submission. An act the Chans found hilarious.

Suffice to say the Chans had enough coincidences to satisfy them.
And Holla Forums had already popularised the idea of meme magic. Which essentially consisted of them shitposting a particular thing constantly. But when these things started happening? They freaked out over the coincidence.
The first major freakout was the Baneposting incident. Germanwings flight 9525. Baneposting parodying the character of Bane from that batman movie was common on the Chans at the time. But when that plane crashed people noticed a lot of unusual coincidences. Times, numbers, names, etc that all had similarities to things from the movie. So the Chans especially Holla Forums freaked out over the coincidences.
This led to the idea of meme magic. Or at least entrenched it in their collective psyche.

This led to Ebola-Chan. During that Ebola epidemic a while back they were trying to use meme magic to encourage its spread. Thankfully I think we can all agree they didn't succeed.
But this didn't deter them. The concept had been placed in their minds and enough coincidences had occurred to keep them satiated.

This is where Kek comes in.
The Chans learned of this ancient egyptian deity and the coincidences. A frog god of change, chaos and darkness. Change was something they believed in and chaos was something they were intimately familiar with.
So in a way the Chans wound up adopting Kek as their patron deity as he was one of them in his own way. Few on the Chans are genuinely christian just as few of them could be said to be genuine worshipers of kek so there wasn't much to stop this happening.
They began delving into occultism and mysticism. Which was something many on the Chans were already very familiar with. Their habit of digging into the dirty secrets of the world and the political class meant they had often been exposed to occultism and mysticism since wherever there is power these things are inevitably present.
So now you have such oddities as threads about tarot card readings on the politics boards and discussion of egregores on the random boards. All taking place alongside the usual discussions and shitposting common to these boards.
Some regard Kek as their weapon against the gods worshiped by the dark cults of which the ruling class are often believed to be members. That the Chans collective relationship with this entity is a partnership born of mutual interest rather than religious fervor or personal greed.

Not even no carbs, just no grain. Here's a sample of my last two breakfasts (my big and favorite meal each day).

That's two eggs over easy, hash browned potatoes, and two 5oz salmon filets, other one is two onion wedges browned, hash browned potatoes, three eggs fried sunny side up, crumbled pork sausage with mushroom stock, and suaerkraut. All cooked in gobs of Kerry gold unsalted butter, with pan drained onto plate after. The kraut didnt turn out good, Im still working on my technique there, new kitchen and tools and all. Lactose is still a sugar even if you are white and can tolerate it, it will still produce an insulin result. The real value of milk is butter and cheese, less so cream. Im thinking for money saving ill get cream and freeze it into cubes then keep them in a bag like that.

Weekly Diet

This depends on a lot of things, namely what your schedule is and what access you have to certain facilities. For example, I am lucky in my situation because I drive a car to school, which is a grad school, and there I get both refrigerator space and microwaves to use – this is about the ideal one can hope for when eating away from home.

Luckily, the diet lends itself to not having to eat away from home. The grain-free or “Davis Diet” as I have come to calling it (you can also call it the zombie diet if you like) is dense fuel. Not in the way that sugar is (calorie dense) or veggie diets claim to be (nutritionally dense) but it actually can sustain you for a very long time quite comfortably. One of the common insults thrown at the Chinese people by their Mongol conquerors was that they were “human cattle”, brought into domestic obedience by their grain based diet. Speaking as a soldier, a Mongol could go three days without food because their staples were meat, eggs, and dairy (they were famous for their huge caravan trains of livestock that followed the armies across Europe). The Chinese peasant conscripted to fight the Mongols was feeling faint by the end of his first day without provision, a fact exploited by them during campaigns.

In our modern life we don’t have to go without food so long, but it can benefit many here to be able to skip lunch, this is entirely possible. The key is to see your dieting day as three “units” of quality animal product (or “dead cute stuff”). It will depend on your size and activity, but for me (6-5, 200lbs, very sedentary), one unit consists of one standard breakfast sausage from the grocery store (think like a bratwurst, 0.5-.75 in wide and 5-6 in long), one egg, and the butter or oil used to cook it (about two teaspoons). I can add other things as I like, such as hash browns, french fries, onions (saute), mushrooms (saute), or a half raw tomato sliced up, this is for flavor and completely optional, though I do it just about every day. Herbs are fine, salt and pepper are also fine (the whole sodium = blood pressure is a meme and shit science, season to your liking), and in general flavor is a vehicle to make the animal product more palatable, no problems there (as with everything, just avoid grain, look in your fridge and just about everything you would think of as a flavoring or sauce has wheat, corn or rice in it).

This “unit” can be cooked in many different ways but it is important to note that just as not all calories are equal (some are grain which is poison!) not all individual pieces of the same food are equal. The more cooked something is, the better it will digest, and the more you will get out of it. This is easily illustrated by eggs. It is a preference of mine to have them sunny side up or over easy to let the yolk and white run a bit, especially to have over potatoes. But in this fashion I will need 3 raw-ish eggs to replicate the one egg that is scrambled to full cooking. Scramble 3 or 4 eggs along with the one sausage and I will find myself unable to finish my breakfast plate without discomfort, whereas this is no problem when they are quite runny. So take all food as meaning fully cooked – not burned, but cooked full to where the only change left is to start discoloring the skin. Obviously, the faster and hotter you cook, the harder it will be to control this reaction and ensure an even and full cook. With the example of a steak served medium rare, this is something burned on purpose to achieve an effect on the mouth (taste) that has no bearing on how full you will feel several hours later (not very because you can’t digest it all). In this context, sushi becomes what my father always called it – a fuckin Jap meme. Raw or undercooked foods in general should be seen as an experience and not a staple. Don’t eat them often, best for occasions and such (I still love my medium rare steaks).

Then we get to what makes up “animal product”. I find it most useful to break this up into three divisions: flesh, organs, and bones. These will present most often in your life as “meat”, “sausage”, and
“broth” or “stock”. The wording is interchangeable but generally you can change your intake around these three quite a lot, any one day can be only one or an even mix of the three – indeed the most meaningful variety in your diet is what part of the animal your are using for a particular meal. While they are all available for purchase at some store or another, the main things your are going to be able to buy are meat (boneless or bone-in) and sausage (may have any number of things in it, including organs and bones). I suspect all three are needed to make a truly complete diet (and Davis basically says as much in WBTH), but perfect balance is not really feasible and I doubt was ever that important. The important thing is to economically, conveniently, and safely get all three into your home.

When it comes to meat, the thing that will save you is cheap cuts and slow cooking. Indeed, it is the basis of all my non-breakfast diet – things such as pork shoulder, beef brisket, chicken thigh or whole chicken, turkey drumsticks. This will get you the lions share of calories if you like, and be the easiest to cook and cheapest to buy. Wal-mart is your friend here: for example, what costs me 25 dollars at the local organic market, a whole chicken organically and beautifully raised with best practices possible, costs me 10 at Wallys and is just less “natural”. While organic is better, the difference in taste is hard to ascertain when its all cooked well, and the difference between the two nutritionally is almost nothing when compared to the difference between Davis diet and standard grain-based. The other thing is the real cheap cuts, they simply don’t offer them in the fancy people’s stores. Even Whole Foods with its hipster irony does a shit job of stocking full packer beef briskets, full picnic pork shoulders, full roasting chickens bone in (they could probably do them all on special order), and they’ll never have the coon-ass super cheap stuff such as separate organ meats, or limb meats like pigs feet and turkey neck.

For cooking meat, a slow cooker is your best friend (for maximum convenience get one with a built-in timer function that turns off automatically), just about any recipe you find on foodnetwork.com is going to work and be cheap as shit. A pressure cooker is a bit trickier and less “fire and forget” but can be useful in the right hands; it basically cooks things you could do on the stove in half or a third of the time without burning them. Stove is the least easy to cook anything but obviously it is super versatile and needed for fast hard cooks such as browning meat, or most anything breakfast-related. In general you want to use meat no later than the third day after buying it, one day for fish or organ meats. Most stuff can be good another two or three days in the fridge after its cooked. Butter keeps about a couple months maybe longer, though you probably will use it quicker than that, full fat cheese basically forever when wrapped tight. So for meat you cook something then figure out how many times you want to eat it in the next few days, past that you freeze it. Prep work ahead of time in the form of portioning everything is a must. Portions can be something small (bacon is usually two strips for me), but a rule of thumb is you either want one full “unit” (enough pulled pork to make the animal part of one meal) for feeding you or about a third of a unit (two strips of bacon) for flavoring component, you will learn more as you go but a lot will be obvious from looking at the ingredients.

For organs, your easiest route will be buying sausage. It’s not that simple however, because it’s nigh on impossible to know what they are putting in the sausage unless you go to a place with an on-duty butcher. If it’s something like whole foods, you run into a lot of sausage that’s just ground up meat, which defeats the purpose. If it contains organs like at Wallys, you don’t know which ones, and run the risk of other things being in there – brains and spinal cord are the only things you really want to avoid (because of prions), but they’ll put toenails and floor scraping if you let them. Organs are where you really have to do your homework – find out who sells them whole and just eat them like that, or find a butcher who makes sausage from them on-site and ask to see it done (they’ll usually be happy to find someone who wants to buy organs off them regularly as they just don’t sell very good). If you live in the country, this isn’t a problem as you can butcher your own animals you catch, but that’s a conversation for another day.

For bones, your best bet is to make your own stock. People do sell “bone broth”, and some of it is actually quite tasty, but it’s never economical. Homemade stock is one of the easiest things to do. Just buy the cheapest meat you can that has a lot of bone mass in it (that’s usually the cheapest thing already), then roast the necks or wings or whatever they are in a pan in the oven for a couple hours on 400, then into a pot, slow-cooker, or pressure cooker with water for the desired amount of time. You’ll usually want at least 3-5 hours in a pressure cooker, or 8-12 in a pot/ slow cooker, but the general idea is the longer you go, the more concentrated it will be. You then pop the stock into ice cube trays and freeze overnight, the cubes then go into a bag loose (the fat will keep them from sticking together) and get labeled. My usual formula yields half a gallon of stock from 4 pounds of “meat”, which then gives me 4-5 ice cubes per “unit” - obviously this is a rough number and will vary tremendously based on lots of things and you just have to experiment until you feel comfortable. The cubes can be used in sauces, dishes, soups, or just plain as a food source. A favorite snack of mine, or a standalone meal that can be had any time of the day, is 4-5 cubes in a coffee cup, topped off with water, then microwaved for three minutes. By the end, you will feel full and indeed you have eaten a whole “unit” of legitimate animal product. Bones can also end up being the cheapest thing you buy, as you don’t need to buy fresh to make stock. Simply save the bones from your big cuts, or for example the whole carcass from a chicken you roasted and carved, in a “bone bag” in the freezer, and when it is full, roast them off and cook them the same way. It is the marrow that feeds you here, so it will all work the same.

So, finally back to the original question: what does a week look like for me? Here is a sample.

Monday

Morning: 1 bratwurst, half a potato (saute), 2 eggs over easy, coffee with cream no sugar

Lunch: 1 pound of chicken (curry style, basically a soup), quarter potato chunked in there, half a tomato

Evening: Just nibble some potato chips as lunch was easily a 2 unit meal

Tuesday

Morning: 1 bratwurst, 3 eggs (full scramble), half a potato (saute), half raw tomato with olive oil, coffee with cream no sugar

Lunch: skipped because breakfast was 2 units

Evening: ½ lb fresh fish (cheapest filet they have, though otherwise I like salmon, catfish, and tilapia), small caprese salad (tomato, mozzarella, basil, olive oil)

Wednesday

Morning: skip breakfast cause I feel like it, coffee with cream no sugar

Lunch: Chipotle – carnitas with double meat, no rice, on bed of lettuce with one scoop of beans, pico de gallo, sour cream, hot salsa

Evening: 4 cubes stock into a coffee mug, topped with water

Thursday

Morning: 1 sausage, onions and mushroom (saute), potatoes (cubed and saute), coffee with cream no sugar

Lunch: Mcdonalds – two mcdoubles and two hash browns (throw away the buns, break each hash brown in half and use them like bread), large diet coke with lemon

Evening: nibble on some potato chips and cheese because I was approaching 3 units already by lunch

Friday

Morning: 3 eggs scrambled, 2 bacon strips, hash browned potatoes – a small handful from a freezer bag (I like a brand called Alexia Organics), coffee with cream no sugar

Lunch: Skip in anticipation of a big dinner

Evening: Five guys – one bacon cheeseburger with extra patty (so three patties, lettuce tomato onion, jalapenos, ketchup, mayo), small fries, small coke zero, buns removed and tossed out so you gotta eat the burger and toppings fork and knife like a salad; this one is real funny because I do it all the time and the five guys near me now are convinced that I must be a bulemic for never gaining weight

Saturday

Morning: skip breakfast because still kinda satisfied from huge night meal, coffee with cream no sugar

Lunch: Tone portion of pulled pork that I take from the freezer (dab of grain-free bbq sauce), handful or Alexia Organic french fries that I take from freezer bag and pan fry in fat (duck fat, pork fat, butter, it don’t matter), dab of grain free ketchup

Evening: ¾ lb steak medium rare, mashed potatoes loaded with butter, asparagus, red wine (my big boy luxury meal, perhaps chased with a cigar and brandy)

Sunday

Morning: breakfast at a diner – two eggs over easy, hash browns, ham steak, coffee with cream no sugar

Lunch: rolls into evening as I cook ahead for the week, I eat portions of brisket, pulled pork, and chicken, along with baked beans, all as I watch Top Gear or something related and try not to crack open a cold beer

So there is a full week for you. You can slot in diet soda or seltzer, plain water, salads, and small things such as nuts or jerky so long as they are not huge they really wont affect your overall inputs you’re going for. Can even include the odd piece of dark chocolate to satisfy a craving though as I said before do your back of the package math and make sure it is 5g or less of sugar you are getting. I purposely included lots of restaurant type food to show how you can get by in any type of place by recognizing what you are served and adjusting accordingly (I find its better not even to bother telling people your diet restrictions, just toss out what you don’t eat and get on with it). If you want to poorfag it just eat only from home and only the cheap fully cooked stuff, I would wager this is all doable on $15 per week at most extreme meat and potatoes only setting. What is more important is to understand the fundamentals, don’t cheat at all with grain, and trust the system – it should become self-regulating within two weeks or less. That means you will crave sweets less or not at all, and will become comfortable eating lots of fats and meat without feeling overwhelmed in your stomach (in the very beginning you might find yourself more thirsty than usual but it passes in about a month).

Burger user here. All of my plans have just fallen apart. I can't go into details, but a roommate's woman is involved (aren't they always?) and shit hit the fan. I still have this winter as my deadline, but all of my current plans are BTFO.
So. Trying to not let my motivation evaporate, and trying to not run screaming into the night. What sort of stuff keeps you on track when the rest of the world seems to be aligned against you and your plans?
Do I find someone small and kill them as a blood sacrfice? Asking for a friend.
Really though, I'm just bummed out, and the amount of things I have to do are now so much greater and the return on that work will never be found. I'm at a loss for anything witty, I just sort of needed to bitch.

On the other hand, I have been going over garden (here we call plants/vegetation food life gardens) designs. I will need to build ~33m of either above ground planters (~.6m wide) for my plan, or slightly more land equivalent to feed myself and a few others, canning what we can't eat. I have a pressure canner and I know how to use it, I also have a 2m stack of jars.

Kind of like paleo but with much more emphasis on fat and holistic eating. Im feeling a Sunday cook along thread on half chan that I'll link to here. I don't know how the van situation is but one of the worst things to walk away from is a kitchen, it eats away at 😉 your money savings. The most important thing you can have is a freezer/fridge, it separates van from mobile home. If not, we can still work something out with a portable propane stove and such, you will just have to cook every single meal for yourself and eat it right there (meaning no taking advantage of pack size and economy of scale, another problem).

I had a gas man come round, tell me the boiler was fucked and I need to pay 2 grand to get a new one, but something felt off, so I got a second gas man round, didn't tell him about the previous guy's assessment, and asked him to do a routine service on my boiler. He found nothing wrong with it. It's still working to this day.

Yes, I spent an extra £60 quid for the second gas man, but I saved myself 2 grand.
