The best thing we can do is build it. Once they see what it is, they will want it. You're probably not going to reach employed tradesmen because they're in a comfy spot, and they're afraid that they might lose it if the system is changed even a little bit.

On the other hand, the precariat, the students, the chronically unemployed, the poor and disgruntled, those are the folks that could stand to learn what this shit means. Talk basic concepts. Commodities, the LTV, the falling rate of profit. Put it so simply that a child couldn't misunderstand.

And look at the bright side - things are only going to get worse. As this happens, people are going to look for alternatives. Once they try them out and the alternatives fail, maybe they will give socialism a try. You can't give up. What's the point to even living if we're not gonna try to make things better than they were before?

you can very much include the 3rd world into your co-op and even take advantage of ot without having to exploit the workers there

if you need to buy resources or material, you can buy them from the 3rd world, where the cost is cheaper, even after paying those workers an equal share, you will still get a net advantage on certain cases

You need a shit ton of capital to start a co-op in the 3rd world country, just so you can bypass exploitation. Meanwhile, your competitors are more ruthless and ignore these externalities. If you manage to obtain the capital, you'll find yourself overburden by everyone wanting to work at said co-op; seeing that you'll be offering them a great deal. You'll raise some eyebrows too, the local racketeers will come visit because you're trying to put them out of business.

Shit's only going to get worse for capitalism from here. It's only been about three decades since the big wave of neoliberalism and we've already had the worst financial crisis since the 1930s. Wealth inequality is getting worse and worse. Add in shit inevitably going crazy because of climate change and automation and people are going to be looking for answers. Right now a lot of people are being drawn to nationalism but we've just to get them looking the other way.

Deutsche Bank will collapse soon. It'll be bigger than Lehmans in 2008.

Just be there in the aftermath to offer the proles an alternative way out.
