Problem for Communism

Note that this isn't problem with Communism, this is problem for Communism. I'm asking how, in your opinion, a Communist society would deal with the following scenario.

Do you allow Boris to perpetuate this sort of activity? Do you force him to distribute his wine equally? Cease wine-making? Execute or otherwise punish him? Seize his wine?

What would happen if Boris quit working and just made wine full time, bartering for what he needed to live with his wine? Would you accept this?

you already fucked up

full retard mode

If we're talking Communism then we're at the theoretical stage where society is able to produce all the wine it needs anyway, so Boris's wine has no intrinsic value fit for trading.

But if you want to assume that we're at some lower stage of socialism where these things are limited, how is Boris able to produce such an excess of wine with only his own saved rations of grapes, yeast, etc?

I don't understand why you think this is a problem.

We are talking about what would be considered an excess for one person who has to be sober enough to go and work an eight hour day and doesn't want to be drunk at all times not at work.

It's at minimum a grey market economy that may grow into an alternative to the approved system.

i would say the most logical thing to do would be to force boris to have SRS like they do in iran when they find a queer. the punishment will be so absurd and uncalled for that no one will ever dare try it again.

...

can we all please just stop replying to femposters

wine is so plentiful that nobody want's boris's wine.
boris is not hiring anybody for a wage and exploiting their labor, so it's fine.
boris gets 12 months gulag because markets are evil.

Alright, and? So what? Even if he's trading it, what's he going to trade it for under Communism?

It's at minimum growing tomatoes which would be completely superfluous in whatever a Communist economy would look like.

What

I don't see a problem with Boris producing certain commodities himself. Infact this is a bonus.
If the conditions are such that Boris needs to produce wine to get things, then its probably at the stage that a market system might be necessary.
Ideally there'd be a pseudo gift economy here, where Boris produces wine and shares it and his neighbors produce tomatoes and other things and share that with Boris.

please get banned again, nazbolcuck

It would be presented in the local assamby where everyone knows Boris, and everyone knows Alexa, and everyone knows the jealous neughbor.

There would be no such thing

Alexa would be inspired by its own assambly to do so. A comrade raising food on its own possessed land is a thing to compliment.

The solution to the problem would be the following:

- Boris and Alexa get complimented by his neighbours in the local assambly, mabe even get a condecoration if the local assambly uses them.
- The jealous neighbour would be censored by the rest of the assambly for trying to create drama. No further actions against him would be taken.

Remind: In capitalist societies raising food or chickens in your own home is prohibited in many places. This is done to make sure the population consumes from the private-owned land and farm. lifting that bans and trying to encourage Boris behaviour would be one of the first measures any socialist (not even communist yet) party would implement once risen to power.

Sage.

The dark subtext of the OP post is that private property of the means of production comes from an hipotetical "original effort" and hard individual work. With this view, Boris act would be a threat to communism as he could end up having a "wine corporation" and screw everything up.
In reality, corporations are not born from any kind of "orginal effort", thats just a myth. They come from state-sanctioned capital accumulation and inheritance.

/thread.

ive been trying to implement dada and surrealism into my political beliefs because i cant think of anything else to do with my life. the results are obviously a little strange, but i cant think of a better way, as a community, to get people to leave you alone. if you are unpredictable (but not violent) no one will want to deal with you because it is impossible to get anything done. then, if you somehow miraculously find a piece of land on this earth that no one else wants or needs, you will have a perfectly isolated society where you can do whatever you want.

applying this to the local justice system seems a little harsh (though people would likely think long and hard before committing crimes). i was just makin a funny

If this did happen, clearly there is a higher demand for wine than is being produced. We could, resources allowing, which they most likely will, increase wine production and make Boris' market collapse.

If there's one thing leftypol needs it's Lenin informing everyone how sage works.

No but you see, OP belives a single person working hard can defeat the collective forces of industralization and science. Because proud individual work will always defeat communism! Havent you seen "Enemy at the Gates" Havent you learned anything from movies?

There is a reason why communism comes after capitalism you know.
