The problem with race mixing is that you rarely get the best qualities of both races (see: Hapas).
Genes work together in complexes. These complexes evolved together over generations to give rise to traits. Very few positive traits are the result of a single gene.
On the other hand, negative traits are often the result of a breakdown in a gene complex. This can result from a mutation in a single gene, since the complex will no longer work together.
If you mix up a bunch of complementary gene complexes you're unlikely to have properly functioning complexes, you'll just end up with a dysfunctional genetic mess 99% of the time.
