TOKYO — North Korea was practicing to strike United States military bases in Japan with its latest barrage of missiles, state media in Pyongyang reported Tuesday, and it appears to be trying to outsmart a new American antimissile battery being deployed to South Korea by firing multiple rockets at once.
Kim Jong Un presided over Monday’s launch of the four missiles, “feasting his eyes on the trails of ballistic rockets,” the Korean Central News Agency reported in a statement that analysts called a “brazen declaration” of the country’s intent to strike enemies with a nuclear weapon if it came under attack.
“If the United States or South Korea fires even a single flame inside North Korean territory, we will demolish the origin of the invasion and provocation with a nuclear tipped missile,” the KCNA statement said.

Too much of a mess to clean up and would become a geopolitical nightmare to deal with. A fully destabilized/desolated North Korea would have devastating rippling effects for the region. So everyone tries to keep it stable as a buffer state, hoping the problem somehow solves itself eventually. Though patience isn't infinite.

Anyhow, what will be necessary for us us as in Japanese in the future would be to control the skies and the sea lanes, and that would mean having a large amount of vessels, and they don't have to be the biggest ships 4u. The last war proved that the age of large capital ships is over, with submarines effectively destroying much of Japan's strategic supplies. The subs and PT boats of WW2 are the drones and guided munitions of today. We've got the advantage in technology, so it's imperative that we utilise this to the fullest extent. The continent needs a cleansing fire, with the Korean war being reignited, which will lead to the complete destruction of both North and South Korea, and a naval showdown between Japan and her allies and China.
