PPL in this game are only engineers/medics when they can just literally shit out their brains and farm certs

Finding a medic/engineer in the middle of even a large scale battle that doesn't have 30-40% of your comrades in a 30m area where they can drop ammo and farm exp or sit back and keep reviving you over and over is next to impossible

This is why engineer and medic is my most played classes, absolute insane exp because nobody else wants to do my job unless they can do it without effort

harassers can shred deployed sunderers hilariously fast

the problem is that because of the way both harassers and vulcans work you can end up with a traffic jam pretty fast and then you all die

so the ideal fight-killing group would be 3+ harassers, some with vulcans, the rest with gatekeepers or halberds, all driven and gunned by engineers. the vulcan harassers get in close, the rest shoot from further back, then whenever a harasser is about to die they just drive right into the sunderer, both driver and gunner hop out and start dropping antitank mines on the sunderer

mine -> sticky grenade -> mine -> mine

the sticky grenade sets off the mines so, unlike c4, once it's down it doesn't even matter if you die, the mines are gonna go off

everyone runs cloak or deployment shield instead of mine guard now so one engineer making it should be a sure kill on a full health sunderer as long as deployment shield has been triggered already

Does anyone have any tips for using a mosquito? I know the air controls suck in this game, but I think I'm getting a hang on maneuvering. The problem is I can never seem to do any real fighting without getting shot up in a few seconds.

Also, would organizing a squadron of mosquito bombers be a viable strategy. I've never seen it be done, but I think it'd be pretty cool if we somehow managed to organize 5 or 6 fighters with rockets and just did bombing runs. Or, maybe I'm just being stupid here.

noseguns are really really accurate but do pitiful damage per shot, which makes it impossible to fight traditionally.

I don't think anyone in the outfit has put a single cent in the game and yet we are having so much fun everyone else is jelly

I'm pretty sure most of us haven't payed anything for it other than a couple of people buying some cosmetics or an XP boost. It's really grindy but otherwise has a decent model and you can easily enjoy the game without paying.

I suggest it. It's free anyway. It isn't much p2w either. There aren't many straight OP weapons. Some might frustrate you, but you can gain them yourself in 2-3 nights playing well.

There's a type of zerging that has never been done before and that's the dwarven fortress assault.
Simply, the outfit would all grab a base piece from a deployed ANT or cortium pod and then switch back to a main weapon and get back into the galaxies.

Once we have galaxies full of dudes who has a base piece with them we can drop from the sky and erect an entire base instantly and anywhere on the map we decided would be comfy.

To base build there is no obligation to deploy your base pieces anywhere near where you took that base piece from and the base pieces that you take are persistent in death. If you die you don't loose your building pieces. We can attempt to hotdrop an entire castles piece by piece by way of galaxy drops and outfit coordination.

and guns with a fire rate of 642 rpm suck (for a 143 damage bullet)
698rpm for controlability

167 damage bullets instead if you have good aim

Stalker Cloak
Crossbow with laser sight
Emp grenades
Grenade belt

Line up your crosshairs with the enemy and throw your grenade. Fire your bolt right before the emp explodes for an instant and 1000% highly skilled one-hit OK

Keep a fall damage implant on your infiltrator and only charge it when you need to drop off an otherwise deadly fall. The rank 4 fall damage implant enables you to become pretty much immune from all fall related deaths.

The Prowler MBT is great, you just have to know how to use it i.e. deployed and sniping. Because of Vanguard shields and Magrider hover you will never take them in a close fight, but deployed and laying down accurate fire from a distance: you can cause tank zergs to redirect or even collapse. Even more so with a mounted Gatekeeper.
