As you all may have noticed, there is an ongoing and rather inflamed discussion on this board right now. I will not get into figuring out how much of it is due to shilling (though shills no doubt participate in this, as they do in any board-splitting discussion). Neither will I get into whether some of our mods are subverted or just having a wank at Holla Forums eating itself.
Long story short, the issue boils down to this:

There is a considerable number of far right, high-IQ, educated and motivated white men on this board. Each of these men has some ideas of his own, some issues closer to heart than others. Each has the ability to go out and affect change in the real world. What this place is, is a sort of collective brain. Each anonymous shitposter serves as a node through which this board processes information. And this brain is tied to a set of broad values from which it derives its opinions.
The system of values which has emerged to dominate this board over the years is that of natural law – the inherent strive of any living thing to survive, procreate and ensure the success of its offspring into perpetuity. And, just as mathematical proofs can be consistently derived from axioms, so can moral conclusions be consistently derived from values. In logic, the output is the consequence of the inputs. So, given a system of values,
NO IDEOLOGY CAN BE STABLE UNLESS IT IS ALWAYS THE LOGICAL CONCLUSION OF ITS VALUES
It is impossible for any system like an imageboard to maintain a steady equilibrium without constantly being in a state of logical conclsuion. The amorphous blob of shitposters will consistently be tugging at every part of the idea system from all sides, in all directions. If any belief can be further simplified to match the values and reality, it will be – through a ruthless process of natural selection. The most often touted beliefs on this board can very well be seen as that – the ground energy states of each individual issue. There are a number of issues which are less immediately related to the core values, and these often tend to be the fracture points in the community.
So what you are proposing, a consistent change in tone regarding mudslimes, faggots, women’s suffrage or whatever else, would require artificially limiting the greatest strength of this place, the vitriolic breaking down of any fact, idea so that it lies bare and exposed as pure truth. It would require artificially keeping certain ideas above ground state, preventing discussion of issues. It would require replacing the core values of nature with new, arbitrary values and the limits they impose. And for what purpose? This is not where we organize, this is not where we fight, gather votes, beg for funding, recruit cannon fodder.
