No it didn't. There barely any racism. Sure, it mentioned slaves and had an interracial couple in trouble but if you had said they were charged with stealing it would've been entirely believable because there was no indication it was really race based at all.

No one called anyone niggers, there was no slave abuse or punishment whipping or branding or scenes of slave auctions or mistreatment of any kind that we actually saw. Having "racism" without showing racism is the cowards way of 'tackling it.'

Bioshock Infinite story is mostly about racial discrimination, tho, since the city goes to a civil revolution thanks to niggers.
Bioshock Infinite taught me 2 valuable lessons: Humans are really shitty man power regardless of your skin color and never let nigger go to paradise under any circumstance.

It was painfully obvious the slavery was race based considering all niggers were slaves. Although the game doesn't expand on that, which is really irrelevant for the story. What you need to know is that slaves, aka niggers, were butthurt and wanted to burn white people's paradise.

It doesn't tackle anything, tho, since as all Bioshock games the moral is pretty neutral, or at least that's what it tried. Revolutionaries were as bad as Commstock.

Games don't challenge people on any level anymore. Vidya is almost entirely a storytelling medium that's stuck in disney fairytale-level depth.

What we need, and I'm sure I'll get my fair share of shitposts for this, more games like Witcher 3. The Baron questline is great, deals with spousal abuse and the mindset then potential redemption arc that goes with it more seriously that you expect from a game nowadays.

It's a shame they don't let Geralt participate in elf bullying. I love me some dead elves in that game. Closest I got was in Witcher 3, coming across some elves being burning to death in a house and leaving to let them cook.

B) They know they're coming for them fast, but for some reason decide to go to sleep again instead of getting the fuck out

D) Implies Hodor is retarded because of TIME TRAVEL as opposed to having been kicked in the head by a horse which is specified repeatedly as the cause of his dimness
E) How the fuck did the white walker army get there that fast
F) Since when was there a tunnel back there, and wouldn't it just lead out even further north
G) Every single zombie was in that fucking tunnel? All of them?
H) How the hell do they expect to run away on foot, in the snow, dragging a sled, in empty tundra, with Hodor buying them a minute at best

Seriously, what the fuck were they thinking when they removed resource/inventory management, sanity, made the monsters slower and weaker, and made their design less scary?
It's definitely not worth $20 going to the Dear Esther devs. It's not really worth any money in my opinion, but it's a fun game to watch on YouTube.

That first image reminds how in 70s certain music circles decided that the pop and rock and roll music of the 50s and 60s was too immature, so they created the "adult contemporary" genre, which sucked everything fun out of rock and roll for the sake of a more "grown up" image.
