Apparently there was a bunch of people on the "team" that hated Banjo Kazooie and wanted to make it into a Spyro team and instead of being told to fuck off the people working on A&C acted like a bunch of cucks and let people fuck their game over.

Coming from the first threads there's been some pretty pessimistic anons who kept saying the game would never come to fruition because of past history. While they aren't necessarily wrong, it doesn't hurt to not be a giant piece of shit and try to sabotage the threads and discussion about it with shitposting. But that's the nature of the site.
I honestly don't understand why faggots are getting mad at a project that doesn't effect them or the industry in any way. It's a passion project for free. No amount of shill accusing or cherry picking on the dev teams drama is going to make it less so.
I do have 3D modeling/animation experience, but back when it started I was already highly resistant to the idea of joining yet another Holla Forums game project only to have it crash and burn due to egos and drama.
Looks like I saved myself another headache so far.
Well if everybody has that mentality then I would assume that it would be the case that nobody would join.
In any case the most drama that's been publicly known was the animators disdain for mark. And I remember him being in the right if not a bit spergy. Otherwise I wouldn't really assume that the team is full of drama.
There's so much I wanna say about that guy but he seems to stalk threads like this so I'll keep quiet.
As mentioned earlier in the thread, there was some kind of Banjo vs Spyro drama.
Myself, I've never played Banjo for more than an hour or so, but I love the Insomniac Spyro games (3 is a bit lacking, but OK).
Even so, I wouldn't have tried to shit on the Banjo parade. Model monkeys should only be concerned with models, not gameplay.
I'm the one who said that in the last threads and I'm confirming here that there WASN'T any Spyro vs Banjo drama. What happened was that I simply brought up Spyro as an inspiration for his charging and gliding mechanic due to how they controlled. There wasn't really a huge debate about that.

Who knows, maybe I'll pitch in some animation work eventually. I just kind of fell out of the game design stuff ages ago because it always went tits up for me.
Honestly it's best to just ignore the drama and look forward to the game and make appropriate criticisms where they're due.
The first thing a lot of anons here wants to talk about is the personal drama revolving around the dev team rather than the actual game or its content.
I'm not excusing anything the dev team does wrong as the communities fault, but there comes a point where drama is just drama and it would be better not to elongate or over exaggerate, spread false rumors and add to the decay the moral structure.
That's your choice then go for it, they could really use some of the help.
This user has the right idea. Alot of what happened or happens on the team usually lasts like 10 minutes before they go back to work. I left the team on a relatively good note with no issues, its in pretty good hands now.
