I just saw there was a speedrun of FF12. what kind of tricks did he do? last I was ever aware, speedruning that game takes over 10 hours.

7:40~ was his time, 8 hour estimate.
It was mostly a lot of light jogging through zones and creatively exploiting enemy/boss weaknesses with the occasional skip.
It was pretty cozy, as a slow-hours run should be, and he started to make more and more mistakes the longer the run dragged on, which made for some interesting improv and trashtalking at his expense.
