As a longtime white nationalist, I think that the anti Muslim sentiment is the best thing to happen in years and years. If the sentiment was truly only directed at Muslims though, I'd be less satisfied. But in practice it has manifested as a resurgence of hate against all subhumans, Muslim or not.
If the situation ever boils over, don't think only Muslims will be the ones against the wall, it'll be all browns, regardless of religion. I can think of no where recent events have resulted in sentiment against only Islam or Muslims. We are seeing a resurgence of white nationalism and racism,and I have Muslims to thank for it.
And I want to thank you lefists for laying the groundwork for our resurgence

I think a more accurate description would be that they are caused by the same thing, rather than one causing the other. So, basically I'm agreeing with the correlation, but not the causation.
