A fantasy is also aesthetic, not necessarily rational in a materialistic sense. It transcendents a mere materialistic stimulus, that's why you want to have sex with a chick and not with a masturbation maschine (I assume).
Humans are not just purely about survival and fulfilling their primal instincts, that's why we have art, music and theatre.
