Second issue of white knight has a good feature in it at least, I like the old Harley a lot better myself and the Tim burton characters wasn’t bad.
Kayden Taylor
Not sure how to feel about this. On one hand it's nice to see a DC comic that smashes Harley's crappy redesign. On the other hand it's far too on the nose and certainly doesn't help.
So far comic seems to do the opposite of what Murphy said he intends to do. Instead Joker becoming a good guy, he is just a different kind of bad guy - he just switched from an unhinged maniac to a lying and manipulative psychopath with a messiah complex. He is also a complete hypocrite. Meanwhile, Batman just seems to be a god guy who genuinely cares, but just has been pushed to the brink by all the super criminals - Joker especially.
Lucas Ward
That kind of makes it fun doesn’t it, think of it years down the line and how people might interpret it as they see rather than what the creators are trying to push.
Jacob Taylor
If this doesn't end with Joker revealing he was still insane and just trying to ruin his reputation by feigning a cure, I'm gonna be pissed.
Liam Gray
Hence the 'not sure how to feel about this' part. Another bothersome element is that characters like Two Face, Penguin, Bane, and Riddeler just trusted joker on 'just wanting to have a causal drink' and drank alcohol that he brought and poured. I could buy others doing that, but not the four most cunning criminals in Gotham. And how did Scarface get mind controlled? He's a puppet!
Now that I re-read it, there is another issue. Image four in has bruce stating that Freeze wore his suit for 50 years. However, in previous issue Joker claimed to be the first super criminal. Is that another sign of Joker's megalomania and lies, did freeze just sit on his ass and was only undertook super-villany after Joker emerged, or is Murphy a writer who can't maintain continuity for two issues? Speaking of freeze, why did he just took the formula? Isn't not being frozen led to having even less time? And why did mice dying of "old age" lay in pools of blood? The more I think about this book the worse it gets, but then I am not quite used to typical cape comics. Artwork is it's main saving grace so far
Given first pages of first issue, it will probably end with Joker and Batman teamming up. There could also be a crazy twist, where Joker will become Batman and Batman will become Joker.

Don't you know? Since the late 80's, every time the Joker shows up, everyone else drops 20 IQ points.
That's his secret superpower: making everyone stupid.
Jonathan Gray
oh, so that's what 'supersanity' does?
Kayden Nguyen
Man, I miss when comic writers read things other than other comics. For example, drinking etiquette describes tequila as a digestive liqueur, something to be served after a dinner to aide in digestion. Or if it's wine, we could go into wine tasting and it's aromas. There are so many things that could make this complicated and interesting.
Of course, instead we need every other villain to be a complete shit-head because "muh Joker".
Samuel Phillips
Gee, that's a great way to show that the Joker is a good person! Have his sidekick continue dressing like she's a villian and brainwash people into doing their bidding!
I'd like to give this the benefit of the doubt and say they're going to pull some sort of twist to ending to the story with the Joker still being insane but I don't think this is self aware enough for that to work. Also:
Sure, alright, fine. But then how do you explain , where he at the very least tortured Jason Todd, if not outright murdered him? Are we going to have some sort of pro-Joker Red-Hood turn up at some point to claim that Mistah J din do nuffin he just taught the boy to laugh? I mean they've already got Barbra acting like some sort of bimbo (>>936620), so it's not exactly like they've been trying to keep the asorted non-Joker characters consistent.
Parker Green
You think they'd think that through?

Anyway, cuck/co/ was sucking this comic off pretty fierce the other day. I think it's because most of them never read anything about The Joker outside of the modern "KILL EVERYTHING" phase.
Aaron Fisher
To be fair, it's a pretty good story. Modern Joker would have killed the girl, Joker of the 80's would have turned her into a clown, and this joker gave her pizza.
Also I do thoroughly enjoy the amount of ass in this. The artist is very good.
Nicholas Lee
There was an episode of The Batman that was like this.
Is that Grant Wilson raised from the dead ala Solomon Grundy?
This seems fun.
So this is the social commentary one right? I'll wait and see how this goes could be good, could be bad. Still seems better than what Marvel's doing right now though that's not hard to do.
I kinda like this one. This version of Batman reminds me of the Arkham one for some reason that and I don't entirely feel comfortable with Croc just being a guy with body modifications rather than a freak. Still pretty fun read and nice art. Thanks OP.
Camden Lee
I quite liked this. I didn't see it when I went to my LCS on wednesday though. If it's still there when I next go I'll buy it; I like the art.
Jeremiah Hill
DC has been really confusing as of late. You've had some SJW shit, but then you get stuff like this and a slew of other good stories. I wonder what the reason for it is.
Adam Young
Probably gives different writers a book or issue to write and see how they do. If they like them keep them, if not then get rid of them. I don’t know tbh that’s just a wild guess

The 9 panel shtick gets tired after the first page, and then they drag it out for 22 fucking pages.

What's wrong with it? I just read it and I've been enjoying this Mister Miracle series. I liked the Scott's trial and Orion grilling him. I've only been reading DC since DCanon started doing these threads, so maybe I'm not getting why some people don't like this series.

I'm actually amazed. White Knight seems to be pretty good so far. I only read it to laugh at it because it sounded retarded, but they're actually managing to sell the concept pretty well.
Nolan Barnes
I think i just know how will the White Knight end… Jason Todd will be the reformed Joker and the real Joker will be the villain which the crazed Batman and the reformed Joker need to team up against.
They will copy the Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker story!
Evan Gutierrez
Why did the special bigger just kill green arrow?
Adam Hughes
Fuck this was awful, not only does the art look weird, I have no idea what happened for most of the comic.
I think I'll like this. The art is nice and clean, and it doesn't go too hard on having a hate boner for police or anything, which is usally what makes this kind of stuff terrible.
I feel like Batman wouldn't make fun of Jim Gordon for vaping
I really like this, but why the fuck do people portray Joker as being so murderous that he would kill his crew on a whim? No one would ever be willing to work with him if that was the case.
You can't seriously have uploaded different comic pages. Please tell me you photoshopped all these identical pages in as a joke.
Carter Bell
What really gets to me is how repetitive drawings are, and 9 panel grid only amplifies it. It would be acceptable if it was limited to one page at a time or at least used purposefully, but as pointed out, reading pages >>938719 in a sequence just makes the whole thing feel ridiculous. Team working on the books also seems too tied to 9 panel format and refuses to break it, even if it would benefit the book. The way the art is drawn makes it feel very cramped too. It's just panel after panel of heads or heads+upper torsos.
All of that put together make the book feel like a chore to read, and the whole trying really hard to be deep thing doesn't help either. What are the points of panels with veggies and dip in them?
Why does food in American comics always look so bad? Europeans, South Americans, and Japs always manage to make it look apetizing at very least. Even in American comics where art is good, pencilers, inkers, and colorists seem to lose all their ability when food is involved.
Carter Hughes
Since Worldwide torrents have died that has screwd up my process to easily update the mega but I am fixing it right now and it's going to be updated from now one.
Charles Moore
WWT has revamped.
Aaron King
So there are two Harleys now because they realized the new one is shit? If they don't make up shit, it wouldn't be necessary to always fix it.
Owen Perez
I really like that part.
Dominic Lee
Nice one, Joker and Harley have a cool design and the coloring and overall art is amazing.
