I've finally got a patched ROM of GK2 so I'm excited about that when I get to it.

Tonic Trouble is garbage.

Playing Sly 3 atm. Gonna start Jak 2 & 3 when done.

Also my my Dolphin Bar came during the weekend so now I have the entire Wii library to look forward to. Got so much fucking vidya to play.

Anyone happen to have Cemu 1.5.0?

If you don't 1cc them you're not allowed to move past that one

I have so much shit in my backlog that I couldn't possibly list it here. I was raised on random DOS games so I haven't played much old console shit, either that or its been so long that I've beaten the game that it would seem brand new to me. completionator.com/Collection/Index/11184

You managed to get PS2 emulation working? Jesus fuck! Teach me your ways

Not overly, it has really good flight for its time. Its a 6/10, would reccomend if you want somthing to play, but not a must play anytime soon.

I mean it's certainly a game, not one I'm especially fond of, or the Nestle Crunch ads.

This, it´s the only schmup in the n64, it´s decent

Plenty of games work and some have some texture issues (jak series) but are totally playable.

Cowboy bebop is the only game i've come across that isn't playable due to a black screen that happens every time you enter shooting mode.

I've gotten A to Z errors like graphics, framerate, sound, even in software mode on a ton of games like Destroy All Humans

How's emulation on cellphones?
I just want a thing I can carry around in my pocket and play SNES/GBA games on.

I hear there's even a DS emulator for Android so that would be an awesome thing to have.

Any good ones i should start with?

They're fine as long as you can root and overclock them, a recent quad core is preferable.

...

The DS emulator for android is ridiculously good.

Its payware unless you root your device though

The input puts me off, there's a solid PSP emulator for android also if your phone can handle it

I'm not good enough to 1cc any, but I've always enjoyed Donpachi and Dodonpachi as well as Flying Shark, Truxton and other Toaplan shooters

All MAME stuff really, I haven't tried many console ports or exclusives

Currently playing vib-ribbon and Kagero - Deception II.

What do you think about pSX/psxfin, is it gud? I didn't have any errors or glitches with it so far.

psxfin 1.14 with PS2 emulation when

One time purchase? I can live with that.

Well there are controllers and things for phones, right?

I guess that's true, I hadn't considered that. Maybe I need to invest in one

I wonder if any of you guys realized; The Colonol Guy in Tonic Trouble is the guy who sells the Main Badguy in Rayman 2 the Giant Mecha.

That's neat.

Why would you use anything other than Retroarch's Mednafen fork which is basically 1:1 perfect emulation with every game?

I've used mednafen before but i never emulated PS1 with it, how different is it with retroarch?

The fork of Mednafen that is used in Retroarch is constantly updated and is perfect emulation and you can even increase the internal resolution now.

There is no reason to use any other emulator for PS1.

...

user I'm so sorry.

On a side not if you're an Nvidia owner and have something better than a 770 you can play ZOE2 at 4x res without any real bugs (cutsenes slow down a lot and there's a small graphical bug in them)

This one is a special case, the author didn't steal all his code from other projects, the antipiracy is unreal and very hard to patch out and it's by a large margin the best DS emulator.

893 games in my backlog, 444 of them are pc games, arcade machines and pinball emu is only a small amount. Second largest libary in there is snes with 74 games

Why launchbox? What's wrong with folders?

The only problem I have is that it's all CPU, and Ridge Racer Type 4 at 4x internal or higher sees some slowdown on my Xeon. I think I'm on 2x which is still breddy good, and the emulation is fantastic. The only thing I'd want to play with is smoothing out the dithering like in ePSXe, which can make RRT4 look decent, except for a bunch of minor graphical errors which sucks ass.

Because some people want to start a program and use a controller the entire way. Not sure I get it myself, but hey.

it's not just that. This client also manage all my emulators, i also can use different settings for each game for some emus (pcsx2), The focus is more on the games and is no longer splitter through the many emus, more infos (database) and drop down menus for each game to the scans (manual, walkthrough).

I'm looking at doing the same thing with PS1 games

Never really played one back in the day, but I'm definitely keen to play some of the games. I made my own list, but would be good if people here could let me know what is worth playing.

Psygnosis games, like Wipeout trilogy, colony wars trilogy and G-police 1 and 2. Which are worth playing nowadays? If Wipeout 3 is worth getting do I get the SE version?

I played ridge racer when it was released, is ridge racer type 4 basically the same thing (like various iterations of street fighter 2 etc). Same thing with Gran Tourismo, should I get 2 if I already played 1?

Shmups…I have R-type Delta and Einhander as the two main ones. Are these worth getting? What else is worth getting?

Are parasite eve and dino crisis as good as the resident evil games?

No. It's like going from SF2 to SF3. Besides, why wouldn't you want to play all the games in a series? That's like asking if you've played Air Combat, should you play Ace Combat 2.

The answer is almost always yes, by the way.

Because for some games, (admittedly mainly sports games but also fighting games and racing games) the next game in the series is just a tarted up remake of the previous title with almost all the same content.

Also, certain games in the series might be absolute balls. For example, DMC2.

So, that 'almost' you mentioned, that's why I asked.

Ah well. Usually though, if it's another game in the series by number, like SF2 -> SF3, Ridge Racer -> RR Revolution -> Rage Racer -> Ridge Racer Type 4, etc, it's safe to assume that it's got at least a little more content and changes. But yeah, I see your point about wanting to avoid black sheep and not just playing through Hyper fighting to learn Turbo is the same with minor changes.

Nice trips and solid points. I guess the main thing is that if these games are iterative and contain all previous tracks and cars etc, why bother with the earlier ones.

I'm assuming ridge racer type 4 and gran tourismo 2 are worth getting, right? I did play Gran tourismo 4 to death on the PS2 though so I'm skeptical 2 will have anything 'new' for me.

Can't speak for GT, but RRT4 is pretty different from the first one. Different tracks, a GP mode with some pretty good writing and a bunch of cars to unlock. Shame most of the cars are the same just tuned slightly differently, though.

Some faggots love being cucks and having middle men.
