Stream something like NuDOOM or Overwatch maybe CS:GO (Pretty much any popular FPS), use a facecam. You should give a lot of attention to followers/donators/subscribers. TTS donations are a must, so kids can spend money to spam their dank memes on stream. Also, have a top donators list.

The Twitch crowd loves them, so it'll work in his favour.

I'd advise watching and noting why the other female streamers are popular, do some research. Some streamers get a start by viewbotting/multistreaming/follow/unfollowing to draw people in/advertising as well. But some of it is bannable I think or against ToS.

See, when I streamed stuff I assumed a couple of things about those that would watch;
1) They never played the game and wanted an honest review/demo of it from someone who already acquired it. Chat being able to facilitate real-time Q&A with someone actually playing the game.
2) They were playing or had already played the game and just wanted to see how others might play. Maybe they'll learn something new, maybe they'll laugh at how shit this person is.
3) Just there to shitpost and are just bored or whatever.

But you see, someone once came up with something that kind of made sense to me. You have millions of people who watch sports events. Never play them, may have never played them in their lives, yet they watch them. They watch them on TV, on the internet, listen to them on the radio.

So how is that any different than watching someone else play a video game? Especially "e-sports" geared games? But generally, just games in general?
And the bonus is that because of the chat you may actually interact with the game player themselves.

Another thing kind of popped up is just how much video games are pushing to be cinematic experiences. Basically being interactive movies.
Well, consider someone streaming a thing like that. They're basically giving up that movie for free. Bonus, you have an audience that you can easily talk all you want in (unlike in a theater where you might disturb people) and chat freely among strangers (the internet is great for just talking to random people) and once more, you may even be able to influence the way the game (movie) is going by engaging the person hosting the stream (usually the game player).

So you plug those factors in and I can see how it is rather attractive. I mean, seriously, what do you really gain out of a game like "The Order 1866" from actually playing it that you wouldn't just simply watching someone else? I'll tell you what you gained, you didn't have to PAY for it or spend bandwidth pirating it.

When it boils down to it, it's just like what Maddox says. We watch people do pretty much every act under the sun on TV, but the moment the idea of watching someone else play a video game comes up, everyone wants to be an amateur comedian and make a sarcastic quip about how they can play a game if they want that.

You can't emulate a PS3 or a PS4. Buying a console or a PC is an expensive gateway to the hobby, and even if you own either, you might not own enough hardware to run a game. I had to upgrade my video card to a 900-series to run Dark Souls 3, that's several hundred bucks. No I'm not, I know the subscribers (I'm one of them) and I have yet to see a single one who doesn't know she is trolling. She gets around 4-5k a month from the subscriptions alone while she only gets around 20-40 dollars per stream from the hate donations.
