Well actually I'm writing a novel about small-scale socialism, which is inherently primitivist because there's not enough people to run for example a factory. What Killer Mike is trying to say is that those who want to revolt against the system need to depend on it as little as possible. He skips running factories and such because that's not on the individual level and he's speaking to the individual level about being ready for the revolution.
