I think it was fun. A bit easier than the other souls games amplified even more so with summons. PvP was a bit whacky when poise was disabled so it seemed like everyone was either abusing hyper armor or parry spam. Havent played it since poise was fixed though.

DSIII is a Best Of album for the franchise and thus can't possibly be worse than previous versions.

The problem with that is both genji and tracer can just dash out of range of them with one button the second they start taking damage or even pass them entirely without getting hit so unless you can somehow force them to stick around it's not going to do a whole lot.

Yeah, I only ever had success with them when I set up like a long avenue of turrets to just poke at them and slow them down as they tried to advance but you can get basically the same effect just poking out to shoot at people with almost any other character's guns without the downside of having like 2 minutes of setup time invalidated the second a Winston or Pharah walks through holding m1.

You're looking at her aesthetically. Those that played her loved her kit and it's easy to see why. It gives her amazing survivability and control as well as harassment potential. If you know what you are doing and know the map reasonably well, you can be the most dangerous class in the game.

you can identify every hero by their silhouette and how they move almost immediately, this game did get a few things right

I think Genji is the one who moves the most, Tracer has the burst movement if she uses all the dashes at once but there's a surprising amount of down time when they're recharging. Genji on the other hand can and should be double jumping and wallrunning constantly and retains both of those without cooldowns.

You know, I have an issue with D.Va being classified as a tank. Her mech dies too easily, her shield is too short, and she's too squishy in either form. If anything she's a defender and not a tank.

Genji has a single charge with a fairly long cooldown. His wallrunning and double jump help a lot but Tracer's blink help even more in combat. You can be shooting someone and blink to their back and as far as I've seen, there's no indication in what direction did Tracer blinked, unlike Genji.

So while Genji has movement to relocate and prepare for combat, Tracer has movement during combat, which is why I said she moves the most.
Even recall is a move that requires some forethough because if you circlestrafe someone for too long, recalling will still leave you near him.

She does a nice job at getting people away from a particular point, even without the Ulti so she fills that role easily. Her mech also has the most Armor out of any class, giving her much survivability. Just don't turn to someone far away or they'll shoot your "head" while you can't riposte.

While out of the mech, remenber that she charges her ulti very, very fast to get it back. Just pop a few hits with the pistol and you'll get it back in seconds. That's actually why some people say she's incredibly durable. Because you can die often and not give a fuck because you'll "heal" 500 HP in seconds with good aim.

Tracers blink does show what direction she went in though, it leaves a trail just like Genji's dash. I find it a lot harder to keep track of where Genji's are since they'll just stick close and keep jumping back and forth over you forcing you to track on two axis while a Tracer will just be going around you on one and is going to have to back off at some point for her blinks to regenerate.
