If it's your first linux distro I would start with Mint/Ubuntu or Tails OS. Tails is very easy to use. You can use Tor Browser on any OS.

If you plan on installing/compiling a lot of stuff, Void might be a bit hard. If you just plan on using it to safely browse things online then it might be ok straight out of the box.
