Hillary wasn't originally meant to win, she was just the only Democrat crazy enough to run a serious campaign this election (Bernie started as a protest candidate). Structurally, this was going to be a bad year for the Democrats, and everyone important on both sides knew it, which is why the Republican field had upwards of a dozen candidates and the Democrats had three.
That all changed when Trump started winning primaries. Democrats were counting on a Jeb-tier cuckservative or at worst somebody like Ted Cruz. They thought they were going to get somebody they could use to rile up their base, but who wouldn't cause any harm to their actual agenda. When they got Trump instead, they shat their pants and went into overdrive trying to make Hillary's doomed campaign miraculously work out.

They thought it was an easy win. They are out of touch.

They acted like that because they were trying to demoralize Trump voters. Pundits and run-of-the-mill shitlibs might have believed it, but the actual strategists working for important people in the party knew this election was going to be a long shot for a Democrat to win. That's why they told their bosses not to run. Hillary was the only one megalomaniacal and desperate enough to ignore their advice and try anyway.

This isn't a popular opinion around here, but I think even the guac merchant would have beaten Hillary.

The only reason (or at least the biggest reason) Trump won was because of a massive revitalization of life into the the values Trump was promoting. He said and did what no one else was going to, and Jeb wouldn't have been able to motivate his own family to vote for him, much less more than sixty million people. Hillary and her horde of illegals would've gone uncontested and without fear with Jeb.

I disagree, this whole election seems to be something greater than that. The moving of normies to social media may have been part of the goal - to destroy the MSM.

Trump alienated more cuckservatives than you think. It was a necessary move for the long-term future of the party, but it did have short-term costs and I think a lot of people underestimate the size of those. That said, those cuckservatives won't matter in 2020. Most will bend the knee, and even the ones who don't will be more than compensated for by crackdowns on Democratic voter fraud.
Hillary had the same issue. She couldn't get anywhere near the turnout Obama got even running against a candidate uniquely hated by liberals. Trump would have lost to Biden. This was closer than any of us want to believe (sure, fraud is fraud, but it still counts if it's not exposed).

She cut a deal with the democrat big wigs to be the next in the running in exchange for letting obongo have the chance to run in '08. Not much else to it. It's the same reason why there were so few debates and candidates for the DNC and why bernie supporters were being constantly shut down by their own side. Hillary losing dramatically isn't that much of a bad thing for the DNC either. I think they're just playing the demographic long game. While I'm glad Trump won, I still think the situation is doomed. If I were a leftist, this is how I'd view losing this election as a simple hiccup to inevitable victory:

And right up until the night of November 8, she believed it was inevitable that she was going to get it.

Adding on to this, they thought Hillary v Trump would be even easier than Hillary v Jeb because "Hurr durr Trump is a bully that doesn't know what he's talking about." I have no doubt in my mind that before Trump was the frontrunner, the plan was to run a by the books Obama progressive campaign against Jeb, hammering home that his brother was the reason Obama was elected in the first place, a rejection of bible-belt conservatism. But as we saw in the DNC leaks, halfway through they thought it would be even easier to try and push for Cruz or Trump to be the nominees because of how much hate they both got and how easy they both seemed to discredit and disarm. They weren't wrong about Cruz, that would have been an incredibly easy win. They underestimated Trump though, they assumed he was just a loud blowhard that only appealed to rednecks and that all they would have to do to win was deride him and his policies for the whole campiagn. It quite obviously backfired, she didn't try and run on a message of anything other than "fuck Trump, amirite?" and it hurt her where it mattered, she didn't bother with the rustbelt save for a few last-minute rallies with Ongobongo, the people most suceptible to an Obama styled progressivism bullshit talk, not only didn't get to see her, they were also constantly derided for even contemplating supporting Trump and ignored by the left so that they could pander to illegal spics instead. It was an awful move on her part that can really only be attributed to hubris, she just assumed these blue-collar workers would vote for her because they voted for Obama, despite the fact that the left, and even her own campaign, was constantly shitting all over these people, either with the policies they enacted that crippled their sources of income, or straight up being made fun of or insulted for warming up to the only guy that has actually tried to make a connection with you and help your long ignored plight

Ultimately Hilary's biggest mistake was dismissing Trump and his voters as a fringe that could easily be brushed off and ignored, she thought she had the very states that cost her the election in the bag. To elaborate, Trump represented an existential threat to the deep state. Knowing this, they threw their weight behind Hillary and fought to the proverbial last man. Likewise, had the election been the anticipated Hillary v. Jeb, the jews would have had no need to interfere with the outcome.

You are not taking into account the fact how many white people are becoming redpilled (even if it's only about multiculturalism and muslim immigration) and not by a small rate, but in droves. To be fair to the left (far more fair than they deserve) they weren't given much choice. Bernie meant bankrupting the country so mainly appealed only to the young, stupid voters that wanted free money and after they fixed it so he lost to Hillary that was all they had left.
