It really doesn't make sense, anything Level 5 seems to make sells like crazy in Japan. But I guess they wanted to make safer bets like Yokai Watch or something.
Does Silent Hills count? It's a shame that was canned, I mean it had Kojima, Del Toro, and Junji Ito behind it, even if it didn't live up to its legacy it would've at least been a great send off for the series.
I just wonder how much work was done on the game before it was canceled.

there was some FPS during the PS3 reveal at E3 that showed a guy shooting people at a mall or museum or something and twisting his guns as he did it.
