For Vita play Demon Gaze or Natural Doctrine. DG is a dungeon crawler with waifus but a legitimately good plot and combat and Natural Doctrine is a very difficult but fair tactical RPG that you actually need to think about before attacking.

I don't even know anymore. I need to dust off my PS Vita and play something on that, something that's not Dragon's Crown. I haven't even touched Moe Chronicle yet, nor have I touched Persona 4 Golden.

Nobody should subject themselves to Java if they don't have to (at least in my opinion). My uni required a year of it, I'm glad it's over. Python is fun, I haven't done much with C#. All of these are high-level languages; working too much in high-level won't be good for a person learning programming. I recommend learning something
lower-level, like C.

It's pretty simple, my group plays on Roll 20, one of you who is DMing can easily find a DMing guide on the internet

Theoretically, but in practice most people aren't cut out to be a (good) DM. It takes a certain level of creativity above playing a character to present a good interactive story, plus it's a lot more work. I'd strongly recommend finding someone who has DM experience, and if not that at least some kind of writing/modding/other creative background.

Whenever I hear about groups of people that want to play D&D but no one knows how to or wants to DM, I get a little angry. If you have the group, then someone needs to nut up, stop being a faggot and learn how to DM.

That's how every beginner group SHOULD start. Learning how to DM gives you an intricate understanding of the rules (because you fucking need it) and a better overall understanding and appreciation of the game. And then when you get the chance to be a player after DMing, you appreciate everything your DM does 1,000,000,000x more, and you appreciate the chance to play 1,000,000,000x more.

There's even a thread on /tg/ about Game Mastering and it has a link to a mega with a bunch of pdfs about how to be a good GM. >>/tg/219332

GMing is challenging and frustrating at times (sometimes), but it is incredibly fun and rewarding.

If no one's willing to learn how to DM for the sake of playing D&D, no one actually really wants to play D&D.

In my experience, players are more afraid of putting all that effort in and getting stuck as a forever DM because no one else wants to shoulder the responsibility. Like I did. ;_;

Someone else in the group is more likely to learn how to DM after they see someone DM so they can learn by example and get inspired/excited by the DM's excitement.

It's better to be a forever DM than to never ever play D&D.

And not one person should nut up and learn to DM in case of a full group of newbies, everyone involved needs to do it. Then one starts off as the actual DM, the others can point out shit that one person missed when it comes up, and everyone learns. You have everyone DM at least once, and then decide who is cut out for the job and preferable set up a rotation if that turns out to be more than one person. At least that's how my group and I did it.
