Maybe its just me, but my experience with Hapas is different from you. They almost always had somethinng fucked up about them (height, concentration, eyesight, or whatnot) due to hybrid (un)vigour, but they were not as leftist as in your experiences. I am usually able to convince them that mass immigration, racemixing, and whatnot have negative consequences.
