How long is the pagan history binding Europeans together? Easily a order of magnitude greater. I'm fine celebrating Christian heritage even if I ultimately think it was a poison pill for my people. It's possible, even probable, that Germanic paganism went through a similarly short gestation period sometime a few hundred years before its dominance in 400-1000 AD.
