The only two I've seen that attempted to address it's biggest problem (RTS control scheme where you only control one dude): Smite and Battleborn, also don't happen to have any of the things that make Dota fun in the first place.

All my friends got so addicted to it they stopped doing anything else. They were either working or playing LoL.
They would lie about what they were doing so they could stay home alone and play LoL.
When we had movie nights, they would play LoL during the movies.
They would play it while they ate.
And obviously, they wouldn't play any other video games anymore.

It went on for a year. I left them all, got back into contact a year later, and they had nothing to talk about and admitted they still only play LoL.

I've heard similar stories from other anons too.
