Regarding the Japanese they're the only Asians I feel are similar to us and I like them. Hey everyone. I went to UCSD and I still am in various faceberg groups related to the school. I have been keeping up with this drama. Here is what you need to understand: UCSD's student body is at least 20% Chinese-national foreign students. Another 30% is Chinese-Americans. The sheer amount of international students really pissee me off during my time there. If you have experience with actually Chinese you know they are sheepish, introverted, with little to no desire to assimilate. Let me paint you a picture of my frustration. I was in a Spanish class with maybe about 14 students, ten of which were Asian of some form or another. Whenever the teacher asked a question, only the non-asian students would answer. It led to this really depressing dynamic where the teacher would ask a question and it would longer in the air for a minute in a silent classroom as he waiting for someone new to raise their hand. The nickname on campus for the school is UC Socially Dead, and a large part of this is because the Chinese students are not normal members of the student body, they only speak amongst themselves and they slice the campus population in two. As you might know, the Chinese school system prizes rote memorization over individual thought and classroom discussion, so these insect-people operate like a silent give and it's fucking creepy. They students who arrive here are the sons of Chinese factory and business owners and they wear flashy outfits and drive Vipers and Aston Martins (no joke). Definitely the worst part of my college experience was sharing space with these creatures. I like Asians generally, but mainland Chinese are programmed Communist robots with no soul.
